Afghan block with hearts crochet pattern

Worked in fingering weight yarn, the afghan block shows a motif reminding of a little heart. Any other yarn weight will work as well, but keep in mind that a different yarn weight will have influence on the size.

Difficulty level: easy (slip stitch, chain and double crochet)

Yarn: Lana Grossa Meilenweit (80% wool, 20% nylon; 210m/50g; 225yds/1.76oz), 1 ball. Sample used 46m (50yds).
