Crochet pattern Stern

This star doily has only a beginning and ending tail, there is no need to sew in tails at every spike! The doily is worked in the round from charted instructions. Individual rounds are not written out, you need to be able to read charts in order to make this project.

You need to know:
− read charts
− adjustable magic ring
− chain
− double crochet (US)
− slip stitch
− cluster: 3 dc’s in one stitch and with a shared top

Finished Size: Approximate diameter 23 in
− crochet thread: 1.75 oz Gründl Häkelgarn
− Tools: Steel crochet hook 1.5 mm [US 8 / UK 4½]

The pattern contains complete crochet charts and helpful step-by-step photos (with round numbers indicated for better orientation) in addition to an enlarged chart portion and a schematic with direction of work indicated.

Difficulty level: Confident Beginner. Blocking is important for a neat appearance of this doily.
