Scarf with slip stitch cables knitting pattern "Built on Sand"

Produktbeschreibung

Knitted during the coldest days of winter, surrounded by high heaps of snow, the color of the yarn made me think of walking over warm sand in summer. A very pleasant image. That’s the simple explanation for the name of this scarf.

Fertigkeiten und was Du bekommst

It is basically a ribbed scarf which incorporates some slip stitch cables and a little bit of texture to create more interest. The cables can be done with or without a cable needle, both ways are explained in the pattern.
The yarn used is a sport weight merino/silk blend. It can easily be substituted by any other yarn. Please note that a different yarn weight will result in a different size. You may want to knit the pattern repeats more or less often. Options for adjusting the size or using different yarns are in the pattern.

Difficulty Level: Advanced beginner (knit, purl, cables over 3 stitches which can be worked with or without a cable needle)

Gauge: 22 stitches/30 rows in stockinette stitch = 10cm/4in

Größenangaben

One size, 165cm (66in) in length, 25cm (10in) in width
