Easy knitting pattern Shawl "Tipsy"

This Shawl is a great project for beginners. The lacepart is easy to knit and the stockinette part is perfect to watch TV.

This pattern is available in german and in english!

Finished measurements:
Width 48 inches (120 cm), and length 26 inches (24 cm) measured from top to bottom, at deepest point, (after blocking).

Materials:
Garn: Cascade Yarn Sock75% Merino, 25% Nylon, 1 skein 400 meters/100g.

Needles: Circular needles US 4 (3.5 mm)

Other: 4 stitch markers, tapestry needle, row counter (optional).

Gauge: 20 sts and 38 rows to 4 inches (10 x 10 cm), in stockinette stitch, after blocking with US 4 (3.5mm) needles. Gauge is not crucial for this project, but changes might result in a smaller/larger shawl and different yardage requirement.

I would classify this pattern as an beginner knitting pattern. The pattern is charted, but also includes complete written directions, as noted above. You will need to know basic knit and purl stitches and a variety of increase and decrease stitches, I am also happy to answer any questions about the pattern BEFORE or AFTER purchase.
