This is a step-by-step tutorial pattern for a hand crocheted cushion cover, which can be used as chair seat (with foam pad inside) or decorative cushion cover (with cushion pad inside).
The pattern can be made up with any yarn. The instructions have been tested on several types of yarn and thread. If you use a different yarn brand or type, use an average hook size between the smallest and largest on the yarn label. Variations and experimentations are unlimited!

Materials you will need:
1) crochet yarn (I used Premium Acrylic DK yarn) yellow (approx. 95 g), black (approx. 80 g, I used 2 shades of black yarn – pure black and dark green-black), green (approx. 100 g), beige (approx. 15 g). Total weight of cushion cover is 290 g. 2) crochet hooks (I used 2 hooks -- size 7 mm and size 5 mm). 3) 5 buttons. 4) round foam pad (2-3 cm thick) or round cushion pad.

The approximate diameter of the crocheted cushion cover is about 47 cm (about 18.5 inch), this is designed for the circular base of the foam cushion pad 33 cm (13 inch) diameter. The size of the cushion cover may vary depending on the type of yarn, hook size and how tightly you crochet.
