Crochet this reversible Diamond / Polka Dot cowl neck warmer, which can also be easily adapted to a scarf

You can use any yarn, however sample image scarflette was worked with Soft Bamboo DK yarn & 3.5mm (US9/10 - UK3/4) crochet hook
