With the opening downwards, it is supposed to keep the devil, storms and bad spirits away from your home and with the opening upwards, it doesn't let the received luck leave again. I'm not superstitious, however I think it to be a nice idea to not only wish good luck but also be able to give it as a present. ;-))*

Used material for the small horseshoes 100% cotton wool length 200m/50g / 656.17ft/1.76oz.(e.g. Manuela No.5), hook size B/14
For the bigger horseshoes 100% cotton wool length 125m/50g / 410.11ft/1.76oz. (e.g. Catania No.5), hook size B/12 and wool rests
Skills: ring of stitches ch = chain stitches sc = single crochet dc = double crochet tr = treble crochet crocheting in rounds and right side and return picots
