Level: beginner.

To create such crochet warm bucket hat you shall know how to make:

MR - magic ring,
CH - chain stitch,
DC - double crochet,
Inc - increase (2 DC in 1).

US size: M (7 - 7 1/8), for HS 21 7/8 - 22 1/4 inches (56-57 cm). Weight 150 g. This tutorial covers both larger and smaller sizes.

MATERIALS and TOOLS you will need to striped hat:

• 100% wool yarn for felting, 50m/50g. Yardage (per size): size XS-S (53–55): 3 skeins, size M (56–57): 3–4 skeins, size L (58–59): 5–6 skeins, size XL (60–61): 6–7 skeins. You can crochet the bucket hat in 1, 2, or 3 colors. My choice: Drops Snow yarn, 2 skeins of "Marshmallow" and 1 skein of "Chartreuse";

• Crochet hook, 7 mm;
• Scissors.
