Skill level: upper beginner (the pattern doesn't contain crocheting lessons). Skills required: basic crocheting skills (crocheting in spiral, magic ring, single crochet stitch, increasing and decreasing, crocheting in rows), basic sewing skills. The Crochet Pattern (pdf file) is in English (US terms), a detailed instructions with lots of photos for each step.
Size (of the sample on the cover): ~8 cm/3 inch, I used a yarn of ~174 yards/160 m = 1,76 oz/50 g and a 2,5 mm hook (the size depends on the thickness of the yarn, the size of the hook and the crochet density).
Materials & Tools: - Yarn: I used – YarnArt JEANS 55% Cotton 45% Pac (50g=160m) sand or grey, dark grey (for the nose) and a bit of different color for the scarf (for a bigger head – Gazzal XL Baby Cotton 50% Cotton 50% Acrylic (50g=100m) grey and black) - 2,5 mm crochet hook (for a big one – 3,5 mm hook) - Polyester fiberfill for stuffing - Yarn needle, scissors, stitch markers or a piece of yarn, pins - 8 mm plastic eyes or you can embroider the eyes - attachment for keychains, a cord, or you can crochet a tight chain of the desired length
