A toy can be made of different types of yarn, but it is important to choose the appropriate ratio of thickness of yarn and hook size.

To crochet the toy Santa Claus, you will need:

1. Yarn Gazzal Baby Cotton (165 meters/50 grams):

• 3445 Beige - 1 skein
• 3432 White - ½ skein
• 3443 Red - ½ skein
• 3436 Dark brown - ½ skein
• 3437 Milky color - ½ skein
• 3456 Green - a small amount

2. Plastic safety eyes 10 mm
3. Felt circles diameter 15 mm (I ordered on Aliexpress
4. Crochet hook 2 mm and 1.5 mm
5. Stuffing material (hollowfiber or polyfil)
6. Scissors & needle
7. 2 pieces of wire 1.5 mm dia with the length of about 30 cm and 2 pieces the length of about 15 cm
8. Beads of 3-4 different colors - a small amount for decorating a sweater

For crocheting toys I use Gazzal Baby Cotton yarn.
You can use any other yarn, but then choose an appropriate size of a crochet hook.
