Sewing instructions and pattern for MICKYs slim-fit T-shirt with either long or short sleeves and a turtleneck, sizes 110-152 / 5-12 yrs.

Your child will be the star in school wearing MICKYs T-shirt. Why don´t you play around with different fabrics and sew a special unique piece? The pattern includes patches for the elbows and a patched pocket on the front part. This sweatshirt is sewn very easily and that in no time. If you feel like it, why don´t you sew the matching baggy trousers and beanie?

The pattern is a slim-fit and fits slim children. MARCO´s shirt however has a casual pattern. We offer this pattern in our shop, too.

What are we going to provide you with?

– Detailed and illustrated sewing instructions from size 110-152 / 5-12 yrs.. We explain everything step by step.

– The instructions explain how to either sew a long or short sleeve. You can also sew a turtleneck.

– This pattern includes 8 printable individual sizes (110,116,122,128,134,140,146 and 152 / 5-12 yrs.). The short sleeve is a separate file.

– IMPORTANT: the patterns will be provided in A4 format and US Letter format giving you the possibility to decide, which format you prefer! So please don´t be surprised, why we are sending you several PDFs.

– No “talk shop” but simple explanations

By the way, we also offer this pattern in the sizes 62-104 /6 mo. – 4/5 yrs. in our shop!

Required material for 1,40 metres / 55" fabric width for a long sleeve shirt:
110 / 5 yrs.: 49,5 cm / 19 1/2"
116 / 5-6 yrs.: 51,0 cm / 20 1/8"
122 / 6 yrs.: 52,5 cm / 20 5/8"

You must place the sleeve separately starting from these sizes, thus the big jump in required fabric. (You will have enough fabric left to sew a beanie or loop scarf):

128 / 7-8 yrs.: 100 cm / 39 3/8"
134 / 8 yrs.: 104 cm / 41"
140 / 9-10 yrs.: 108 cm / 42 1/2"
146 / 10 yrs.: 112 cm / 44 1/8"
152 / 12 yrs.: 116 cm / 45 5/8"

Recommended fabric for this style: jersey fabrics and e.g. Nicky for colder days…
