Crochet Boys Costumes and Outfits

So much fun and easy to do 4 crochet patterns for the baby boys in your life, or a wonderful gift to make for a expecting family. The patterns are for the cowboy chaps, a sweater set, a fireman set, and a hockey set. Hours of fun. All of the patterns are written in US terminology.
Patterns range from the size of Newborn to 6 Months.
Worsted weight yarn was used for all patterns.

My patterns are generally very easy to do, but if you should have any issues please don't hesitate to ask.

Newborn - 6 MOnths

Materials:
2 Balls Beigh worsted weight yarn. I used Loops and Threads “Impeccable”
but you can use any worsted weight.
Small amount neon yellow
Small amount dark grey
Small amount of white for Chief letters
4.5mm Crochet hook
6mm Crochet hook
4 Medium size buttons
MATERIALS: Crochet hooks are given in metric size.
Crochet hook size 4mm/G
Crochet hook size 3mm- for stars and necktie fastener
Crochet hook size 5mm/H
If you are not sure if you are using the correct size of hook, go
to google and type in “crochet hook comparison chart” it shows
all the sizes for the different countries.
I used Impeccable “Loops and Threads” yarn. If you do not have
that kind of yarn where you live, redheart is basically the same
type. I would suggest using redheart soft instead of the super
saver, It is much softer for baby clothing.
1 ball of main color (black, or brown)
1 ball of contrasting color (blue, or pink)
Small amount of 3rd color. ( white or cream)
1 button for diaper cover
Tapestry needle
Materials:
3.mm crochet hook
3.5mm crochet hook
4.00mm crochet hook
4.5mm crochet hook
1 Ball cornflower blue worsted weight yarn ( I used Smart Craft Yarn in all
colors from Michaels) But any worsted weight yarn is fine.
1 Ball Med Grey
Small amount of white
Stick pins
7 small buttons. I used small wooden buttons from Michaels
Materials:
1 Ball Black Worsted Weight Yarn
Small amounts of bright yellow and white
4.00mm Crochet Hook
3.00mm Crochet Hook
Tapestry needle to sew in ends.
