Sewing instructions and pattern for FRANZIs bathing poncho / hooded bath towel , sizes 110-152 / 5-12 yrs.

This bathing poncho is very easy to sew and moreover very practical.  The bathing poncho is very versatile, e.g. for the beach or at the swimming pool. There are two versions within the pattern being either a round or straight version of the hem. Furthermore there is an option showing you how to sew a patched pocket and/or a starfish appliqué.

What are we going to provide you with?

– detailed and illustrated sewing instructions from size 110-152 / 5-12 years. We explain everything step by step.

– This pattern includes 8 printable individual sizes (110,116,122,128,134,140,146 and 152 / 5-12 yrs.).

– IMPORTANT: the patterns will be provided in A4 format and US Letter format giving you the possibility to decide, which format you prefer! So please don´t be surprised, why we are sending you several PDFs.

– No “talk shop” but simple explanations

By the way, we also offer this pattern in the sizes 62-104 / 6 months – 4/5 yrs. in our shop!

Required fabric having 1,40 metres / 55" fabric width:

Bias tape consumption: 6 metres / 236".

Recommended fabric for this poncho: terry cloth fabrics. You can also sew the poncho out of other cosy fabrics!

It is prohibited to copy and pass on the pattern.

You may use the pattern for private purposes, which includes the fabrication of single parts, small batches and also the resale.
