My first traditional houndstooth hat. It came out nicely except way smaller. It actually ended up fitting my 5 year Granddaughter but it was supposed to be an adult size. Either I crochet tightly for this pattern or had the setting yarn. I’m not sure. I used a sparkle yarn but thought it was a #4 weight. Either way I thought it came out well.
