Our men also appreciate a hand-knitted vest with a cable pattern. This one is independent of fashion, timeless, and goes well with both a shirt and, very casually, over a T-shirt.

The measurements in the pattern fit sizes 46-50.

A collar hat / pull-on hood is perfect for children, because they don’t need an extra scarf with it. This hat has something special, because it can be unbuttoned at the front. Some children don’t really like pulling things over their heads.

Also easy to make for beginners who have knitted before.

Another buttoned collar hat / pull-on hood (version 1) is also available for babies and toddlers. It is just as easy to knit.

For this pretty poncho cape with a button placket at the front, you only need 200 g of sock yarn. It keeps your shoulders and upper body nice and warm, feels very lightweight to wear, and leaves your arms free.

Easy to make for beginners with knitting skills.

This colorful children’s jacket made of merino wool has everything kids love—a hood and pockets for storing treasures.

The special feature: there are hardly any seams; only the pockets need to be sewn on from the inside along one side. The rest is knitted in, which also makes it very sturdy. The jacket is knitted top down with raglan shaping.

Difficulty level: for advanced knitters

This cozy, warm cardigan made from merino wool with knitted-in pockets is worked with raglan from the bottom up—almost seamlessly. The pockets are sewn on from the inside on only one side.

Since the pattern fits close to the body and emphasizes the figure while still stretching well, the cardigan fits sizes 38–42. A bit of shaping at the waist has also been worked in here.

Thanks to two cleverly placed buttons, this poncho is a true quick-change artist. Since the buttons fit through the lace pattern, there is no need to work in buttonholes—so the buttons can be fastened anywhere you like, creating a wide variety of wearing options!

Here’s the pattern

Two Woolly Hugs BOBBEL-COTTON (50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic, yardage = 800 m/200 g) in color no. 02 were used for the poncho.

Detailed description as a PDF file with text, crochet chart, and step-by-step photos.

When it’s this cold, a thick, cozy loop scarf is just the thing. Using only knit and purl stitches creates this cable effect, and with a bulky yarn it knits up quickly.

The loop scarf was knitted on circular needles, and the pattern is also suitable for beginners.

I used Rowan Baby Merino Silk yarn with a length of 135 m / 50 g. It required 200 grams.

You can find the pattern here

How about a casual cozy sweater?
This knitted sweater is cuddly warm, and its lightweight batwing sleeves also make it super comfortable and cozy!
It is knitted in just two pieces (front and back), so the sleeves do not have to be knitted on separately.
The pattern is created using only knit and purl stitches, ideal for beginners.
The knitting pattern is described in detail.
Here’s the pattern and all the details

A cozy little knitted cardigan for little boys or girls who love vehicles. The children's cardigan is described in sizes 80/86 and 92/98. It is knitted from thin acrylic yarn and is therefore especially easy-care. Leftover cotton yarn is used for the crocheted appliqués. The zipper in the front saves you the hassle of buttoning.

Loop Franja
cozy warm fringe

-- to the pattern --

The Loop Franja is a cozy warm accessory that brings color into your everyday life.

As always, the pattern is richly illustrated and describes step by step how you can crochet this great loop scarf yourself, even as a beginner. For advanced crocheters , there is also a PC-created crochet chart included.

The loop scarf shown was crocheted using 200g McLana Jazz (color 23 (Bird of Paradise),
yardage 240m/100g) and is 15cm high with a circumference of approx. 80cm.
