Let’s decorate the Christmas room together

Here, we can decorate a virtual Christmas room together—with everything that goes with it.
Everyone can join in—including you. Just imagine we’re doing this together, and each of us is bringing something to the table.

Here’s how it works:

Write something here that gives the Christmas room its very own magic. Let your imagination run wild—it can even be fairy-tale-like.

If you’d like, you can also add your own (!) photo. Just be sure to write underneath that it’s yours! And there can’t be any people in the photo.

I’ll just go ahead and start:

A colorful string of lights

a big, beautiful Advent wreath

I’ll add a cozy, crackling fireplace.

This already feels totally cozy and snug... I’ll add a cup of coffee and a heart-shaped roll.

The photo is mine, and the roll is homemade—it actually turned out just like that.

Of course, beautiful candles are a must.


And next to our knitting, there’s a Christmas story ready to be read aloud

.... I’ll put on some nice music... Old Christmas carols that we used to sing as kids... 

We’ll be listening to classical music. 

Christmas decorations—taken by me at the Palmengarten in Frankfurt 2…3 years ago.

Of course, these two little Christmas angels can’t be left out either. They’re at my place, and now they’re moving in here too.

My new friend Pummel simply has to be in my Christmas parlour. I just got him as a gift and snapped a photo of him for you.

I think a nativity scene is a must for Christmas. I’m sharing this one (which has been with us for many years)...

 

A well-filled plate of Christmas cookies is part of it too! (All baked by me last Christmas and photographed by me too)

Oh, that looks delicious... :) And it’s already gotten so cozy here—really lovely! :)

Then I’ll add a few more Christmas decorations. I took these photos myself at home.

And since it’s still Advent, here’s a beautiful Advent wreath (my own creation and photo).

I’ve also got some decorations for the room. Everything belongs to me, and I took the photos myself.

The kids have also made something for the cozy Christmas room.

And to go with it, little angels I embroidered (with an embroidery machine) for the Christmas tree :-)

Well then, I’ll add the trees I sewed myself too...…..

  Decorations for the Christmas tree in our library!

The library is providing little white matchboxes—how you decorate them is entirely up to your imagination, whether you paint, glue, or whatever… I thought that was a great idea!
So I’m now contributing this little star (which I crocheted yesterday) to the forum Christmas room as well. (My photo)

There’s already such a cozy Christmas atmosphere here, so I’ve got a pretty decoration for you, too. (Photo is mine and I took it myself)

We’re still missing some little bells—I’ll bring those along too and hang them on the window.

My colorful stars, which I crocheted myself, would definitely look great on the tree. Here’s my photo

Santa Claus begins getting ready and moves into the Christmas room. He brings a wonderful story with him.

Tomorrow the Christ Child is coming already! What absolutely mustn’t be missing in the Christmas room?

That’s right! The Christmas tree and the nativity scene!
