Good luck.

It’s wonderful that you found time to bake. There are extra karma points for that, too, because you treated your loved ones with it. I hope there will still be a few cookies left for you and for Christmas. It’s also great that you could wrap yourself in a cozy blanket.

It’s also wonderful that you found time to bake Christmas cookies and dog biscuits. Five finished November projects are fantastic. Of course, there are lots of extra points for the photos.

Congratulations on numerous karma points for the photos of your finished projects and for giving away your handmade items. :-) Congratulations on the title Leftover Yarn Champion in November for gift tags made from leftover yarn and the cup holders made from leftover yarn that you knitted for the “Knitting Against Forgetting” campaign. That earns lots of extra karma points.

Congratulations on the title “Shopping Queen Who Shines Through Modesty When Shopping.” I invented this title especially for you now, since buying four balls, two of which were returned because they were extra, is something special. :-)

Congratulations on the title Busy Christmas Elf for the six finished Christmas gifts
Quote begins
3 scarves and three dishcloths.
As tags I crocheted a mini Santa hat (for Nicolas), a
little Christmas tree and a little Advent wreath, as well as six small

Lots of extra points for the many photos and the appliqués on blankets that you gave to the retirement home. I find that admirable.

Last-minute update! ;)
I just came across my child’s hot water bottle, which is over 40 years old...
Now it has a pretty little cover made from 100g of cozy, soft, hand-spun merino wool. Used up another skein!
It’s not cold at all today, but I still want to cuddle it... just because...

So, first my pictures ....

My haul: Unfortunately I don’t have a picture of the sock yarn. It’s only 6 skeins *cough*

1 pair of socks for me, without a pattern—I can do that now!

A shawl, pattern from a group

Another shawl, pattern from a Facebook group

Then a table runner, pattern from here. Unfortunately not blocked yet; it was finished on 11/30 shortly before midnight, and yesterday I didn’t feel like doing menial tasks like washing ...

[ ] In November I bought only urgently needed yarn.
Details:
[x] I significantly stocked up my supply for Christmas etc. and had
fun doing it. :- )
==> Yes, I’m in for this one! Bobbels and sock yarn!

Wallflower Rescuer in November
[ ] I finally finished my oldest purchased / free downloaded pattern // a
pattern that had been sitting untouched for quite a while and
am therefore a Wallflower Rescuer.
Details:
[x] I earned bonus points for feedback to the respective designer / comments
/ reviews etc.
==> Even if I didn’t rescue anything, I always leave feedback!

Rescuer of the unruly yarn / the unruly material, formerly called Stepchild Yarn Rescuer //
Stepchild Material Rescuer

[x] In November I used up old unloved yarn and am a rescuer
of the unruly yarn / Yarn Rescuer
==>It wasn’t unloved and wasn’t unruly either, but it had been lying around here for a year and I thought
I would never make anything with it, then it fell into my hands and became
a table runner!

all November projects
Number of projects finished in November: 4
Number of patterns finished / uploaded in November (for
designers only):
==> Then I also crocheted 2 sleeves of a tunic from here. And unraveled them again already because I didn’t like the
different color gradient on both sides (or rather my
inner Monk didn’t like it). Now I’m looking for different ones for it and
the 2 test Bobbels will be used for something else.

Earn extra points / bonus points and improve your karma: I posted photos of my scarves in the forum and in the gallery.
All the projects I finished in November will be given away.

UFO Queen/King in November

This month I didn’t have time for UFOs.

Leftover Yarn Champion in November

For “Knitting Against Forgetting,” I knitted two cup holders from leftover yarn.
The gift tags are crocheted from leftover cotton yarn.

Shopping Queen / King:

In November, I bought just four skeins to complement my scarves, two of which I returned because I had bought too many.

Hard-Working Christmas Elves

In November, I made six Christmas gifts: 3 scarves and three dishcloths.
As tags, I crocheted a mini Santa hat (for Nicolas), a little Christmas tree, and a tiny Advent wreath, as well as six little stars and a star with a tail (following Elke Eder’s pattern)

etc. + new: Cozy Blanket Evenings

At home, I settled comfortably on the sofa to knit or crochet, keeping warm with a cozy blanket.

All November Projects

Total: 11 projects:
3 scarves
1 baby triangular shawl (plus one and a half booties! but that doesn’t count, since they’re not finished yet)
3 dishcloths (photo to follow)
2 cup holders (well, those were only made today...)
3 Christmas motifs as tags (count as one project)
7 crocheted stars (same)

I've gone through it once.
Who am I missing?
What did I forget?

@Iglinz,
You're already on the list, but the details are still missing.
Did you finish a scarf?

Thank you so much, Josefa—your award ceremony post is wonderful to read once again! It’s fun to be motivated like this.

Dear Josefa,
thank you so very much for the wonderful award ceremony. It’s incredibly motivating and brings cheer on a gloomy day like today (it’s warm here, but it’s raining—not Christmassy at all—where on earth has the snow gone?).

Oh my goodness, another month has flown by, and I didn’t take any photos! I think I showed you the scarf, but I also finished a pair of socks as a Christmas gift and an infinity scarf. Actually, that’s not quite right—the infinity scarf is still missing its buttons. But I did knit a shawl. Photos will be posted tomorrow!
As for the various “Wool Emperor” titles, I can’t claim any of those. I bought a tiny bit of yarn, but not enough to really brag about—though, of course, that means my yarn diet is out the window. And other than that, I can’t think of any title I might qualify for.
In any case, congratulations to all the winners!

@Iglinz,
as soon as your photos are online, I can award you extra karma points for photos and handmade items you've given away. That's also enough for the title of "Hardworking Christmas Elf." :-) You bought yarn, and that's enough for the title of "Shopping Queen."
If the scarf was a UFO, then that's also enough for the title of UFO Queen.

So hurry up with those photos, and I'll polish up your karma. :-)

Dear Josefa,

thank you for the wonderful awards ceremony. You’ve put all of this together so lovingly for each of us. It’s truly a joy for me to participate here—even when time is tight, like it is right now. And you play a big part in that. Of course, everyone else who posts here as well. You’ve all really grown on me.

I really have to say again—I’m so glad I ended up here. :)

Wishing you all a wonderful Advent season!

Best wishes from Monika

Oh, by the way, is there a UFO thread for December too? I haven’t found it yet....
Maybe I’ll finally manage to get that little bear finished...

There won’t be a UFO week in December because the Christmas elves here are very busy. In January, we’ll get going again in full swing with all the title highlights and a spring-fresh yarn diet.

Of course there is a December projects thread:
