The decorations/coasters " little snowflakes "
with a diameter of approx. 10 cm are very well suited for the Christmas season and create a cozy atmosphere. They can be placed nicely on the festive table as coasters for candle holders, or used as door and window decorations. And of course as Christmas tree ornaments . Not much thread is needed to make one snowflake, so they can be crocheted from leftover thread. A lovely way to use up leftovers!

This Christmas you’ll have a very special decoration, an absolute one-of-a-kind piece that many will envy you for: a Nativity scene with self-crocheted Nativity figures!!

You can start crocheting the figures one by one right now.
In the 1st pattern, you’ll get the basic set: Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus in the manger, the ox and donkey, and the Christmas star.
In the 2nd pattern, the Christmas angel, 3 shepherds, and 2 different sheep
are added.
In the 3rd pattern, the 3 Wise Men from the East with their animals (elephant, camel, horse)
follow. With that, you’ll have all the important figures from the Christmas story. You can crochet everything using leftover yarn that you’re sure to have at home. You can let your imagination guide you and make your figures completely individual.

I hope you have lots of fun and joy crocheting your Nativity figures. If you don’t quite finish by Christmas, you can complete your Nativity scene during the year as well. That way, you’ll enjoy it all year long!

Of course, angels are also part of Christmas. Here, you can crochet an entire heavenly orchestra from just a little leftover yarn. These cute little angels are quick to crochet. You can purchase their little instruments at craft stores. But even without instruments, they make charming decorations—whether as a heavenly choir or as Christmas tree or gift tags. Everyone will also be delighted to receive a little angel like this as a guardian angel.Click here for the pattern!

These Christmas finger puppets are a great alternative to the candy in an Advent calendar—and just as cute and popular. They’re quick to crochet using a bit of leftover yarn, and their stories and adventures help pass the time until Christmas Eve.
They’re also great as gift tags or for small vouchers that you can slip into the finger puppet.

At Christmas, the table is decorated especially beautifully—even at breakfast! That’s where these cute egg cozies come in handy! St. Nicholas, a snowman, and a little angel keep your breakfast eggs warm, but even if you don’t eat eggs for breakfast, you can use them as pretty table decorations.
Tip: These three also make a popular Secret Santa gift!

Nikolausi-Osterhasi also makes an original Secret Santa gift. This reversible doll can literally be transformed from Santa Claus into the Easter Bunny in the blink of an eye. It never fails to surprise.
To crochet the Nikolaus-Osterhasi, you’ll need red, skin-colored, light green, and brown cotton yarn, plus a little white fluffy yarn. You’ll also need a 2.5 mm crochet hook, some craft stuffing, and possibly safety eyes.
You can find the pattern here!

Amid all the usual Christmas preparations, it’s important not to forget about gift packaging. And of course, this gift packaging should suit Christmas. This little Christmas tree is a lovely example of that.

The little Christmas tree is made of cardstock, measures approximately 29 x 26.5 x 10.5 cm, and is easy for even beginners to recreate thanks to very precise craft templates.

Decorating the Christmas tree should also be planned and prepared in advance. Maybe you’d like to make some ornaments yourself this year? Here’s a suggestion from me:

These ornaments are about 7 cm in size, easy to make, and well-suited even for beginners with a little crafting experience. They’re made from photo cardstock, but can also be made very well using decorative papers that are a bit thinner.

Here’s another festive gift bag for your presents.

The little bag reliably hides its contents until Christmas gift-giving and can be opened quickly. The packaging is made of cardstock and measures approximately 23 x 30 x 13 cm. It’s easy to make, but not necessarily suitable for your very first crafting attempt.

Here are two patterns for the Advent and Christmas season in one set.
For the main material, you’ll need LED tea lights in any size and leftover yarn.
You can find the few other materials in the respective pattern.
The two are a real eye-catcher and are always very well received as a small gift to bring along.

The individual little bags are quick and easy to make; crocheting one now and then in between lets the calendar grow piece by piece. If you make each little bag 3 times in a different color sequence, you'll get 24 individual little bags.
