Hi
it seems the forum users aren’t quite in agreement right now on whether summer items or fall/winter items are more in demand at the moment. What do you think? Let’s do a quick poll on this.

Fall items. Most people plan ahead... and by the time you finish a piece, summer is over.

Best regards, Ina

I’m in favor of releasing fall items in the summer and summer items in the winter, since many people are working and have kids at home, so they need a lot more time to finish the items...

Definitely fall.
Summer is almost over, after all. Better to finish a fall piece too early than a summer piece too late. :)

I’d also say fall/winter items. After all, the clothing departments are currently switching from summer to fall and winter collections. And you don’t wait until it’s already snowing to buy a sweater or a scarf. And since these are patterns for making those items, you really have to start early. I’d also start offering Christmas items now—after all, people want to use them starting on the first Sunday of Advent, not just on Christmas Eve.

Here’s a tip:
keep an eye on the clothing catalog companies. As soon as they start sending out their fall/winter catalogs (which is basically right now), we should make the switch. They have more experience than all of us combined and always point us in the right direction, especially when it comes to trends. The same goes for spring/summer.

To answer the question: fall

Hi,

I’d also really love to see more fall/winter items (especially for Advent and Christmas) in the amigurumi section.

Fall/Winter! By the time I finish my projects, it’ll be time for a crochet bikini again anyway :-D

I’d say fall and winter items, too—after all, there are plenty of people preparing for craft fairs who are already looking for inspiration and buying patterns.

We’ve already had the first few cool days, so I’m leaning toward fall items. With stoles, scarves, etc., you can make them work for either season depending on the type of yarn, if you want!

Hi everyone!

I’d also say AUTUMN ITEMS—you can already get some
guidance from the shop windows and act accordingly
(in other words: do some crafting) ggggg.
Best regards, Tina

I agree with everyone: fall items. There’s not enough time left
for summer. It would be a shame—fall is here and there’s nothing new ;-)
Best regards

Hey there,
I think it’s already time to start thinking about fall items. It won’t be long now, especially with the weather always changing.
Best regards,
Germanlady

I’m wearing a sweater today, too, and I’ve been thinking about snuggling up with a cozy blanket.
Last week it was still 36 degrees, but not really anymore. ; )

Sorry,
I’d be more in favor of fall items—or even creative things for Christmas already.
