I’m further along with my weekly goal than I’d hoped *yay* I actually had more time for my cowl last night than I thought—the last knot is history, and now I just need to come up with a nice finish for the remaining meters of yarn. I think ending it with just a row of double crochet is kind of boring :-)

I’ll start thinking later about what my next project will be—I have more than enough ideas...

My “soul warmer” is in its final stages. I have about 8 cm left to knit, then I’ll sew it together, then crochet around the edges, then… DONE! I’ll manage those few centimeters today. At the same time, I’m continuing to knit the scarf I started yesterday, which has the same pattern.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently crocheting some window decorations for winter and fall. The
winter decorations will be ready by the weekend, but I just came up with
an idea for the fall ones. *laughs*

I also have a few ideas for “cozy” projects. It’s slowly getting cooler, after all. Let’s see which idea comes out on top. :- ) ) ) ) ) )

I’m working on a Christmas doily (and unfortunately have a cold).

That’s beautiful, and the color combination is great.

We just had a little friend over to play. He’s the same age as Anton, and the two of them played really well together. That must have been very tiring. Anton fell asleep right away afterward.

Wonderful—I’m crocheting now, and tonight I’ll keep sorting through photos. 

Mel, your blanket looks really great. The colors and the pattern look wonderful.
I was busy today, too—I picked up a whole bunch of apples. I’ll finish my blanket later. I only have two more rounds to go on the border.

Today I had to accompany my younger grandson to choir practice, and on the way there and while waiting I knitted a pair of mittens for the youngest one. By tomorrow, all the gifts to take along should be finished!

So, I’ve been sorting through photos until just now. It was really nice to see how much Anton has changed. But somehow I can’t even imagine anymore how small he used to be.

I think I’ve found some great photos for the photo essay. Also some pregnancy photos and a great ultrasound image (3D—we took a picture of it back then). That’s all part of it. Hopefully I’ll be able to put it together the way I want.

Now I’m going to have another glass of red wine and then I’ll go to bed. I’m meeting my mother-in-law first thing tomorrow morning. We’re going to buy his first pair of shoes. 

Raglan jacket
Hi everyone, I haven’t started working on it yet, but everything’s ready. I want to knit myself a new jacket this winter—I found just what I was looking for at UMgarnen: raglan jacket in rib pattern (the blue link). If only so many other things didn’t always get in the way...
