Summer, sun, beach bag (not an ad)

Hi, my next “project” is going to be a beach bag.
But I’m still a little unsure about the fabric. What do you think of patchwork fabric? Any tips are welcome! :- )

Hi Thekla, for a beach bag, it might make sense to use a slightly sturdier fabric—maybe even water-repellent? And of course, it should be really big so that everything you need fits inside.
How’s your sewing machine doing? Is it up and running again by now?

Yeah, good suggestion... Then maybe a canvas-type fabric?

I’ve followed all the tips and my sewing machine is running right now—let’s see how long it lasts :)

I sewed this beach bag, and it turned out really well and was easy to make... what do you think?
