Elsa, the cute snake

Hi,
this is my first time crocheting using a pattern—I’ve always done it with videos before. Now I have a problem: I don’t quite understand rounds 18 and 19. It seems like rounds 3 and 4 are exactly the same, just written differently, but when I follow the instructions there, I can’t get the number of stitches listed in parentheses!

That’s just the problem with copyright—unfortunately, you’re not allowed to simply copy larger amounts of text into the forum. Please contact the designer directly; she’ll surely be happy to help you.

Yes, I can understand that. Unfortunately, the designer didn’t reply to me, but I’ve figured out the solution now ;) It’s just not always easy when you’re stuck and have to wait so long for help, or don’t get any at all...

I usually do reply, though. :) Thanks to my full-time job and family, I can’t always respond within 5 minutes—but I usually get back to you fairly quickly.
Do you still need help, or has the issue been resolved in the meantime? That’s how your second post reads to me, at least.

Hey! Yes, I managed to figure everything out, and the snake turned out really beautiful! I’d asked my questions in the comments on the snake, so maybe that’s why you couldn’t see them! I understand the full-time job and child situation—I got a bit over-eager again and wanted to know everything right away :O Sorry about that! But in the end, everything got sorted out! Best wishes!
