Monday Thread: How are you all doing?

Dear users, dear authors,
how are you? Everything going well? Did you have a nice weekend? What did you do? Are you still doing crafts despite the heat?
Let me know.

I spent the weekend crocheting away at my summer top, and it’s almost done. Just a little more tonight and tomorrow night, and then it should be finished (just in time for the storm and temperature drop forecast for Thursday)
This morning I still have some housework to do, and this afternoon I have an appointment with the ENT doctor. Starting tomorrow, my husband is finally on vacation too—it’s about time.

I didn’t do much crocheting over the weekend.
On Saturday, we went shopping for school supplies and new sports gear for the two
girls.
Yesterday, a dear friend came to visit.

I won’t get much crocheting done tonight either. My little one has
a dentist appointment at 6 p.m.

The weekend was pretty good.
On Friday, I made the Star Wars cake, which I’d rather not show here (you never know—copyright and all that :))

On Saturday, I went to visit my mom and gave her the cake.
And yesterday, other than going to the ice cream shop, not much else was on the agenda.

I haven’t been crocheting much in this heat, but that’s okay. I always thought it couldn’t get too hot for that… But apparently it can ;)

Later I have to go to the dentist… I’m a little nervous about it.
It’s my first appointment since a major procedure, and the dentist said that if it didn’t work out, the only option left is a root canal.
I’d love to cancel the appointment :D But that wouldn’t change anything anyway. 

Crocheting would be nice, but first I have to trim and freeze beans—we’ve had a bountiful harvest! But while I’m watching TV tonight, I’ll be reaching for my needles and yarn again.

Today I spent half the day in the kitchen making baby vegetable puree. We’ve got enough to last the next 3 weeks.

My parents were here and kept Anton entertained. That was really handy.

Now Olaf is in the kitchen making our dinner. And I’m crocheting

I just finished my summer top, and now I’m enjoying the rest of the evening in front of the TV with my husband.
