Knitting a Hooded Scarf

Hi everyone,
knitting a hooded scarf or just a regular scarf... that's what I actually wanted to ask. Which one is more comfortable to wear?

Hey, I think it depends on whether it’s more for summer or winter, and whether you want to wear something like that with a specific outfit or whether it should somehow go with everything

For summer, if it should go with everything, I’d be more inclined to go for a scarf;
if it’s for winter or for a specific outfit (if a hooded scarf suits it), then I’d recommend the hooded scarf.

You guys are really funny — have you even been outside today or anything? I don’t quite understand how anyone can even think about scarves in this weather. ;)
But maybe it’s different if you use really lightweight yarn; maybe that would work better.

I’m just asking in advance :-). Winter will definitely come, and I want to have my scarf or hooded scarf knitted by then. It takes me a very long time to knit because I’m still a beginner and don’t have too much time for it either.

Good idea—if it takes longer to knit, then it makes sense to start with the scarf now.

I like hooded scarves best, especially the ones with ears. :3

Hey flyowl, I think hooded scarves aren’t just practical, but also stylish! So if you ask me, I’d knit a hooded scarf — I’m sure you already have plenty of “regular” scarves at home.
