Triangular Shawl

Hi,

I need your help, please. I tried to download a pattern from the free patterns section, but for some reason it didn’t quite work out. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the shawl, the designer, or the color either. I started crocheting the triangular shawl and am now almost finished, but I’ve forgotten how to do the final row. How can I upload the photo here so you can see which triangular shawl I’m talking about?

The pattern could be seen on Facebook around May 22, 2015.

When you write a post, you’ll see a menu above your text box; the fifth icon from the left is the image icon—that’s where you can upload your photo.

Try using the search function—maybe you’ll find the shawl using the photo.

Where exactly are you having trouble downloading the free PDFs?
Actually, all you need for that is an account, which you already have, and the free Acrobat PDF Reader.
It should be installed on your PC/laptop; otherwise you won’t be able to open the PDFs.
You can download it for free here:

If you’re using a tablet or smartphone, you can download and install a comparable app from the app store. That depends on which device you’re using.

This is currently the only free triangular shawl; it’s knitted, not crocheted, but I’ll use this shawl to show you how you can view the patterns without downloading them.

OK, please also try searching for the keywords “shawl,” “scarf,” “wrap,” “shoulder shawl,” “stole,” “lace shawl,” and possibly “dragon’s tail.” Was it perhaps more like a “poncho”? You can search for that as well.
I looked through the Facebook posts from late May, but there wasn’t a shawl there that matched your description.
Is downloading the free patterns working better now, or are there still issues?

Look, Kornnatter, berlidesign, and the mod tried to help you find the pattern again, but if, despite the tips here in the thread, you don't want to upload a picture and also don't want to say what problems you're having with the free patterns, it's kind of hard to help you.
Are you sure the triangular shawl was a pattern from Crazypatterns? If you searched the shop using all the keywords mentioned and didn't find anything, then either the pattern may have been withdrawn or removed from the shop, or it wasn't from CP at all. There are lots of sellers who offer patterns for sale; the whole internet is full of them. If it was, for example, a pattern from dawanda or etsy, then you probably won't find it here in the shop.

Just upload a photo, then people can help you so you can finish the shawl, regardless of whether the shawl was made from a CP pattern or from somewhere else. That’s probably the simplest solution.
