Donnie Donkey is by no means a stubborn donkey. At 44 cm long, he is really cuddly and ideal for snuggling all day long.

Personally, I recommend cotton yarn for making all my amigurumi.

The pattern includes many step-by-step photos that make it easier to make. Basic crochet skills (single crochet, increases/decreases, etc.) are required, however.

The following materials are needed to make it:
  • 250 g cotton yarn in light gray
  • 50 g cotton yarn in dark gray
  • 50 g cotton yarn in white
  • 50 g cotton yarn in black
  • scrap cotton yarn in red
  • one pair of safety eyes, 15 mm, in brown-black
  • stuffing
  • crochet hook size 3

Elli the Unicorn is a mythical creature that symbolizes goodness. With her lilac and purple mane and her glittering horn, she wants to capture a child’s heart by storm. Who can resist her loyal gaze?

Using the specified materials, Elli Einhorn will be 44 cm long.

Personally, I recommend cotton yarn for making all of my amigurumis.

Originally designed as music boxes, these cute little animals can also be crocheted quite traditionally as amigurumi and will delight not only the youngest ones. They are made large enough so that a music box will fit inside in any case, but you can also place little bells in balls from the craft store into the arms or fill the ears with crinkle foil, creating lots of sensory experiences.

This magical creature brings joy not only to little girls—adults can enjoy this mythical creature too. The unicorn is quick to crochet with this pattern and is perfect as an appliqué for a favorite sweater, a knitted or crocheted dress, a pillowcase, a gym bag, or for your very own idea…I used Catania yarn by Schachenmayr; with this yarn, my unicorn measures about 22 cm tall and 16 cm wide. And here’s the link to the pattern:

This little unicorn is on cloud nine and would love to move in with you. It is about 12 cm tall when seated and done in most girls' favorite color - purple. All you need to crochet it are basic crochet skills, a few leftover bits of purple yarn, stuffing, googly eyes, and a 2.5 mm crochet hook.

And here’s the picture of the unicorn—it actually hopped right out of the first comment in all the excitement of spring ;-)

Best regards, Sonja

If you prefer knitting to crocheting, you might just lose your heart to this enchanting pair. Rudi the unicorn lady and her friend, Rocky the little donkey, are inseparable, which is why the two of them come together in one pattern. Thanks to the many pictures, even ambitious beginners can venture to make these sweet animals.
