Spring—that means sunshine, colors, flowers! Don’t you feel like crocheting yourself a seasonal table? It’s a wonderful decoration that you can design to suit your taste, depending on the season. The seasonal table looks especially pretty when you decorate it with the charming flower children . The first flowers are, for example,
 the pussy willow  and

 snowdrop and bellflower

Later,
 cowslip and

 daisy begin to bloom.
Well, isn’t that a great idea? All the flower children are about 12–13 cm tall, so they’ll find a place in any little corner. They have movable limbs, and each flower child comes with a little version of its flower. To crochet them, you only need a few scraps of leftover yarn in the right colors. I used Catania by Schachenmayr. By the way, a flower child like this also makes a beautiful keychain. Get started right away—it’s a lot of fun!

How about an Easter gift like this:

Crochet pattern Möbius Collar 1-2-3-4

(To purchase/download please click the image )

This scarf-collar is wonderfully quick to crochet and beautifully spruces up sweaters and shirts.

It is crocheted from approx. 60 g of a merino yarn with a yardage of 50 g – 160 m and hook size 3 – 4 (here with a 3.5 crochet hook ) and is quickly finished in one afternoon. Beginners should allow themselves a little more crochet time. Other yarns with a suitable hook size can also be used. In my opinion, however, the pattern comes out better in finer yarns.

The Möbius technique in crochet is considerably easier than in knitting.

For the illustrated PDF pattern , basic crochet skills are sufficient (chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch ).

For Easter, a crocheted table runner in fresh spring colors! The filet technique is explained in detail in the pattern and is quick and easy even for beginners. There’s a chart for the pattern that describes each row. If that’s too cumbersome for you, you can follow the graphic stitch chart instead. Using the recommended yarn (Catania, LL 125m/50g) and a 2 mm crochet hook, the runner measures 100 cm x 34 cm, but can be made longer or shorter by adding or omitting a pattern repeat.
Yarn requirements: about 3 skeins of green and 1/2 skein of yellow yarn.
You can find the pattern here!

Flower Gnomes Gerla and Fridolin

Spring is approaching; soon the first flowers will be poking their heads out of the ground, and then Flower Gnome Gerla and his friend Fridolin will have their
hands full.
And they are so cute to look at. Their fluffy beards, the
caps that have slipped down, and the lovely accessories, such as flowers, a basket, and
a flowerpot, make them real eye-catchers.
If you attach a little string to their pointed caps, you can also hang them on
the Easter tree.Materials list for one gnome: • approx. 10 g yellow acrylic yarn (or cotton)
• approx. 8 g red cotton
• approx. 5 g skin-colored cotton
• approx. 6 g white acrylic yarn (this MUST be acrylic so it can be brushed out)
• approx. 10 g brown cotton
• approx. 2 g dark brown cotton
• crochet hook size 3
• yarn needle/embroidery needle
• scissors
• a piece of Velcro (the rougher side) or a hand brush
• sturdy wire or/and green pipe cleaners
• pins
