A little something for a loved one: You can quickly and easily crochet a bookmark like this from a bit of leftover yarn; maybe you still have a little red and gold left over from your Christmas crochet projects. You can choose between a bookmark with a gold border and cut-out hearts or several little hearts strung together, decorated with small seed beads.
All you need is a tiny scrap of red (Catania fine – LL 165m/50g) and gold (Glitter by Gründel – LL 110m/25g), a 2.0 mm crochet hook, and possibly a few seed beads.
Find the pattern here!

This very special triangular shawl with a patchwork pattern
looks best when made with yarn with a long color gradient!

Pattern for triangular shawlPatchwork

You’ll need 200–300 g of yarn, depending on the size, with a yardage of 420 m/100 g
and size 3 knitting needles,

The knitting pattern consists only of knit stitches, and in the pattern it is explained precisely step by step,
with lots of pictures,

it’s so much fun to knit this pattern: one square, then another square, then another, and so on,

and you can also knit the shawl in exactly the size you like.

This cowl looks great and also keeps your shoulders and décolletage wonderfully warm. The best part: It only requires one skein (50 g) of cotton and is a breeze to knit—even for beginners.

You can basically use any type of yarn here. The shoulder warmer is sure to look great even when made with leftover yarn.

Christmas is barely over, and carnival season is already starting. This year it’s especially short, so you have to think about it early! You can finish this carnival mask in the Venetian style very quickly, though. It’s not nearly as hard to crochet as it might look. You only need a small leftover bit of yarn and maybe a few sequins or rhinestones for decorating. You can make it in one afternoon!

A friend asked for a bag like this for her tissues, and here it is. Practical and extremely versatile. Plus, it’s crocheted in a flash and perfect for beginners.

Exactly one pack of Tempos—that is, 10 tissues—fits comfortably inside and is always within reach. This great little holder also makes a lovely Valentine’s Day gift for the whole family. Everyone will love it. And if you want to give a little something extra, you can easily hide it inside.

Our men would also like to be dressed in something new. And this knitted shawl collar is just the right thing for that!

here’s the pattern

In the pattern, you’ll find the rows explained step by step, and of course there’s also a knitting chart.

You’ll need a size 6 knitting needle and about 120 grams of suitable yarn. I used leftovers from a Zauberei by Lady Dee’s Traumgarne, held double.

Easter wreath - Cuckoo Egg

A versatile wreath for Eastertime.
Complete, it is an eye-catcher for Eastertime and a lovely decoration on the door or wall.
When the chick is taken out of the egg, it can be filled with little surprises and turned into an Easter basket.
Without the egg and chick, the wreath can be used on the table as an Easter nest, and the chick is then a little decoration on its own.

Details & pattern

crocheted using:
  • magic ring
  • increasing and decreasing stitches
  • chain stitches, slip stitches, and single crochet stitches
  • half double crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet

High up in the air, the little mouse floats in its hot air balloon and watches the dangerous cats from a safe distance. The mouse in the balloon is a lovely decoration for a child's room. It looks especially nice as a window decoration. But it can also be taken out of the basket for playtime.

To crochet it, you’ll need 50 g each of cotton yarn (Catania) in the colors mint, natural, and light gray. For the mouse, I used some leftover Estivo II in gray so it would be fluffier. But you can also crochet it from cotton yarn.

You’ll also need a Styrofoam ball with a diameter of 15 cm, some stuffing, embroidery floss, and possibly safety eyes (unless you’d rather embroider them).
The pattern is brand new in my shop here!

The MALOU series has a new addition!
A scarf collar is a wonderful change from scarves or cowls and a MUST-HAVE this winter! It keeps you especially warm right where a jacket or coat has its neckline. Whether worn underneath or on top: it looks great, and the pattern here is also addictive—just like the matching wrist warmers!! The scarf collar knits up quickly with 5 mm needles, and the pattern is easier than it may seem! And as a little bonus: with this pattern, you can knit a scarf, a scarf collar, and also a cowl knitted lengthwise; there are instructions for all versions! With the detailed knitting pattern, you can work from both the knitting chart and the written-out row-by-row instructions , and the size can be very easily adjusted to suit all needs!

Materials: 3 skeins of "Stockholm" by Lang Yarns (or 4 skeins for more than 90 cm in length), 5 mm knitting needles, and 3 buttons about 3 cm in diameter

Here is the knitting pattern for the MALOU scarf collar: CLICK

As always, Annette wishes you lots of fun knitting

Cowl collars are a great alternative to loops and scarves for keeping warm in winter...
... you can never have enough of them!

Here, 2 techniques come together—and they harmonize beautifully:
Tartan + Tapestry

Who says the tartan technique only shines in knitwear? - Far from it!
Crocheted pieces can be wonderfully jazzed up too!

The construction looks sophisticated, but is so easy to work that even beginners will enjoy it!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
To make it clearer, the pattern includes 1 crochet chart .
In addition, a template with an integrated diagram helps you through the crochet process.

The tartan technique is also described in detail and illustrated with photos (16 images).
The tapestry technique is explained separately as well.

When laid out flat, the scarf has a size of about 34 x 105 cm.
However, it can easily be made smaller or larger as needed.
The included template and the gauge will help with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

A soul warmer like this simply has to hang in every woman’s closet in lots of colors and shapes.

This zigzag pattern is simply fun and looks fantastic on top of that.
The edging is worked with a relief pattern, which is simple—yet very effective.

The cut of the soul warmer is made entirely without decreases or increases...
... so it is also absolutely recommended for beginners!

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarity, 3 charts in crochet chart form can be found in the pattern.
In addition, 3 diagrams help you through the crochet process—step by step.

This pattern is designed for sizes S/M/L/XL.
However, the pattern explains how the shrug can easily be adapted to any size.
The included schematic and the gauge help with this!

And here’s where to find the pattern and more details...

Another exclusive new item in my shop:
The dragon tail "Lucky Rea"!
The clover leaves on and in each point make it something very special.

I used 1000 m of 3-ply gradient yarn and worked with a 3.0 mm hook, giving it a wingspan of about 2.30 m.
But you can also use other yarn and make more/fewer pattern repeats.

The file contains a written, illustrated step-by-step pattern and a crochet chart for the first two pattern repeats; after that, you can continue working according to the chart.

Chain stitches, half double crochets, and bobble stitches are used.
You’ll also get an extra explanation for the bobble stitches.

Here’s the pattern!

There’s even 20% off until the end of January! :)

Have fun! :)

We need them in every season and every quality...
... the triangular shawls!
Hardly any accessory perks up a supposedly boring outfit as much as our shawls!

The pattern used looks complex, but is so easy to make that even beginners will enjoy it!

A detailed step-by-step explanation guides you through the crochet pattern.
Row by row and stitch by stitch are explained.
For clarification, 1 chart in crochet chart form can be found in the pattern.

The size of the shawl is approximately 180 x 100 cm.
However, it can be made smaller or larger as needed—with little effort.
The specified gauge helps with that!

And here’s the pattern and more details...

Here you’ll find the perfect spring and Easter decorations with a placemat, flower egg cozies in different variations, and flower scatter decorations. Some creative ideas are presented in the pattern.

If you have leftover cotton yarn, you can use up even the tiniest leftovers here.

Great for beginners. However, basic skills should already be in place.

What makes it special:
In the pattern, most of the photos are placed on extra pages that do not need to be printed. Everything is written out in full, so there are no abbreviations.

These are the cheeky boys - a variation idea for little and big boys:

This colorful children’s sweater/long sweater with a collar is just the thing for spring and even for cool summer days. It’s knitted from cotton, so it can be worn all year round. In winter, simply layer a bodysuit or shirt underneath. The sweater fits sizes 92 through 104, so its length allows it to grow with the child for a while.

In size 92, the sweater looks especially pretty on girls, as it can still be worn as a long sweater. This makes it look almost like a little dress. Of course, the sweater can also be knitted a bit shorter, in which case it will fit little boys as well.

Difficulty level: Knitting experience and the following basic skills are required:

  • knit and purl stitches
  • increasing stitches
  • binding off stitches
  • knitting slip stitches
  • knitting in the round
  • changing colors (for the stripes)
  • picking up stitches for knitting on
  • sewing Kitchener stitch (would be an advantage)

The sweater has only a few seams. They are located at the shoulder and under the arm.

What makes this special:

  • The pattern was written without abbreviations.
  • The photos are on separate pages that do not need to be printed.

Click here for the knitting pattern for the children’s sweater with a collar.

This poncho cape is knitted from 200 g of sock yarn with a cashmere blend, which gives it a particularly pleasant feel. It’s very lightweight, super comfortable, and can be worn either open or buttoned up. Since it’s not as long as a regular poncho, it allows for plenty of arm movement. An ideal solution for every season!

This poncho cape is also easy for beginners with some knitting experience to make. The following skills are required:

  • Knit and purl stitches
  • Picking up and binding off stitches
  • Making buttonholes or working yarn overs
  • Increasing from a single stitch
Special features of this knitting pattern:
  • The pattern is written without abbreviations.
  • The photos are on separate pages and do not need to be printed.
The size described fits universally from approximately size 36 to 42/44. Other sizes can be easily adjusted.
