Is it possible to achieve great success with DIY patterns?

I was just wondering if you can actually become really famous with DIY patterns? I assume most creators who regularly post patterns have a following. Are there creators who are really well-known across different platforms? I’m not quite sure how to put this, since I’m not very familiar with the “DIY scene,” but I hope you know what I mean. Thanks for your answers.

I think the creators with the top-selling patterns are definitely well-known. Is that what you meant above?

I think one of the best-known creators—regardless of platform—is Elizza :)

eliZZZa has some really nice videos on YouTube—I’ve learned a lot from them.

I only saw a magazine with DIY patterns for the first time yesterday, and I hadn’t known the sellers from here before either.

I've also heard of eliZZZa quite often, especially in YouTube videos

By DIY patterns, I meant all patterns in the areas of crochet, knitting, sewing, and crafting.
