Dear users, dear authors,
I'm excited to see what you come up with on the topic of leftover yarn in blue, yellow and white. If there’s a little red included, that certainly wouldn’t hurt either.

Have fun shopping.

@Autoren,
2-3 patterns per author are enough. Link and image, as well as the usual information in the text, should not be missing.

A yellow cotton pot holder looks great in the kitchen and is quick to knit. You’ll need about 40 meters of yarn for one.

You can find the pattern here.

The pattern is simple and definitely suitable for beginners. You should know how to knit and purl.

Of course, you can also make something similar from leftover white cotton yarn. A dishcloth - or a potholder, depending on what you need at the moment.

This pattern is also quick and easy to knit.

These knitted bookmarks are addictive, and you should have about 20 m of cotton left over for them.

You can find them here.

This pattern is not necessarily suitable for beginners. You should have a bit of experience with lace patterns. A large knitting chart helps with making it.

With just a few grams of yarn ("Catania Fine“ or „Alize Diva silk effect“) and a size 2 crochet hook (or 1.75) you can crochet this enchanting little bag for Barbie and her friends. Or the blanket or the other lovely items that are part of the "Beachwear" series.

I hope you have lots of fun making it - Yours, Ina

For one of these short doll dresses you only need 10 g of cotton yarn (e.g., Catania fine), a size 2 set of double-pointed needles, and a crochet hook. The little dress can be knitted quickly, even by knitting beginners. You’ll find all further information on the cover page.

I wish you lots of joy knitting up your leftover yarn - Yours, Ina

With this lovely crochet project, you can use up your leftover yarn not only in yellow, blue, white, and red, but also in all other colors. Each pocket only needs 8 g of yarn.

Together, the 24 colorful pockets make an original Advent calendar for your children or grandchildren. The red stars with the numbers 1 to 24 are included as a printable template. Now all you have to do is crochet the little pockets and fill them. I hope you have lots of fun with it! Yours, Ina

Knitting pattern for baby socks with a cable

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

These sweet baby socks with a cable pattern, knitted with especially soft cashmere sock yarn (Comfort sock yarn) or alpaca sock yarn (from ApuKuntur), are especially temperature-regulating and cuddly soft.

They can also be repurposed, for example as “packaging” for cash gifts, jewelry, or similar items. I once packaged my wedding cash gift like that.

Included in the download :

  • PDF knitting pattern, 18 pages (actually already a sock-knitting course), detailed and illustrated for size 15 (newborns); larger sizes can easily be knitted according to the included table information
  • PDF supplementary handwritten sketch
  • PDF baby sock size chart for sizes 15–20
  • PDF sock size chart from size 22 (up to 47)
Required materials: for sizes 15 to 22 approx. 15 g 4-ply sock yarn (leftover yarn), set of double-pointed needles 2.5, cable needle, measuring tape, scissors, yarn needle.
