unfortunately, the favorite meal part isn’t going to happen, since I’m still trying to lose weight.

But it’s a good day—so far. Tonight I’m going to donate blood and I’m
looking forward to being home. Then I’ll crochet a few more rows on my sweater.

Well, fall = flu season, and I’ve been hit hard :\/

But hey, “women’s flu” is really just the same as “men’s flu,” except that we women still cook meals, go to work, take care of our kids, walk the dog, and run the household.

  At least that’s how it is for me ;-) But by evening, I’m too exhausted to crochet. And speaking of favorite food: it really doesn’t matter what I eat—I can’t taste anything anyway, and my throat hurts. The upside: there’s no better diet than this :-)

Well, I’m an optimist and can always find a silver lining in every situation :-)

Today was a wonderful fall day, and I couldn’t get enough of the view of the freshly snow-covered mountains beyond the clear, blue Lake Lucerne! Also, the last part of the seminar on Islam was very interesting again, and I found time to crochet on the train. Now, in the evening, I’ve started knitting a new shawl—the yarn cake for it has been waiting impatiently for quite some time!
