--> Go to the pattern here

Christmas gift for the very little ones. If you don’t yet have a suitable gift for the new arrival, then this sweet lion rattle would be perfect for you, because it’s not only super easy to make, but also incredibly cute. Alternatively, you can also crochet the lion comforter, which can also be found in my shop.

A detailed pattern with lots of pictures lets you make the little lion very easily!

Difficulty level: Easy

What you need for it:

Gründl Happy yarn (100 g = 250 m yardage):
  • Yellow approx. 50 g
  • Remnant of (off-)white approx. 5 g
  • Beige and brown for the mane (approx. 30–40 g)
  • Safety eyes approx. 12–14 mm
  • Rattle balls and squeakers (can be ordered online/Amazon – alternatively, you can also fill an old Kinder Surprise egg with rice)
  • Crochet hook 3.5, yarn needle and scissors and stuffing material

What you need to know:

Magic ring, single crochet, increases and decreases

PS: This model is also available as a unicorn rattle or as an elephant rattle

Crochet Pattern: Children's Neckerchief Christmas Pirate

A triangular scarf with a motif that the little ones are sure to love, because Santa Claus and a pirate in one—that's pretty cool.
The scarf is tied at the neck with a strap, so it can be adjusted to size and no thick knot presses on the neck. It can also be worn easily as a headscarf.

Details & pattern are available here with one click

The motif is crocheted in, and the scarf is crocheted with single crochet stitches.
The pattern is written without abbreviations, and the color change is explained using pictures.

A great gift for any age is my balloon cover, crocheted from lots of granny squares.

Depending on the yarn yardage, the cover will vary in size. I prefer to use cotton.

Here is the pattern.

Even the very little ones try to grab the ball or crawl after it. Later, you can use it both indoors (very soft, since there is a balloon inside) and in the garden. If it gets dirty, it goes into the washing machine and is quickly ready for use again with a new balloon.

For many generations, children have played with paper dolls, and they are still very popular. If you’d like to give your child a toy that you enjoyed playing with yourself, I have a pretty little 25.6 cm doll here for you to print out.

You can make the matching clothes yourself; in the pattern, I’ve explained again just to be safe how to do it. But there are also some ready-made clothing items in my store that you can simply print out.

Crochet pattern for a blanket.

Now, in the cool season, it makes a welcome gift. Who doesn’t love snuggling into a warm blanket while reading books?

This was crocheted with Katia Mississippi 3, 210 m yardage, hook size 3.5, and I used 350 g of yarn.  In the pattern, the finished blanket measures 84 x 67 cm.

You can find the pattern for the blanket here.

This firefighter is a fantastic Christmas gift, especially for boys!
Knitted with Ll yarn (115 m per 50 g), it measures about 40 cm and is really not very difficult to knit.

For Christmas, it can be a somewhat larger and more elaborate crochet project

the cuddly animals are equipped with a music box and rattles,
the cord of the music box is hidden so it can’t wrap around little hands and feet,
you’ll also find a short video about it on my page

here is the octopus with the little fish

or the elephant

a very special gift for the little ones

or without a music box, e.g. the Bremen Town Musicians stacking tower

an effort that’s worth it
