I think—or rather, I’m afraid—that I’ll have to take a long break this weekend… I have a feeling tendonitis might be setting in, and unfortunately, the only thing that helps is to completely stop :(
Things are a bit hectic here right now, so I’m planning to do some relaxing knitting during my breaks. Hopefully, I’ll be able to continue working on my scarf.
Hello,
I’m trying to continue knitting my UFO, a “children’s traditional costume jacket,” as long as my eyes don’t close on me... (because I need to catch up on sleep)...
Have a lovely weekend, everyone
Traudelina
thank you so much for the kind wishes.
I just put on another Retterspitz bandage for the night—it really helps me.
But I still need to take it easy for a bit. Good thing tomorrow is Sunday—family commitments usually leave me with little time for crocheting anyway ;)
Best wishes, and have a wonderful rest of the weekend, everyone!
@Nina, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you, too, that it doesn’t get any worse. Hopefully this forced break will be over by Monday!
I’ve got some DIY projects planned for the weekend rather than crafts—tomorrow I’ll be building more furniture :)
Otherwise, I’ll be working a little more on my bed project right away :)
I bought one of those light-up crochet hooks and started a half-granny shawl just for this—I’ll be crocheting it in bed at night to practice (it’s very unusual with the light) ;)
Oh, Tina, would you share your experiences with the crochet hook with us?
I’ve also seen crochet hooks and knitting needles with lights, but I’ve always wondered whether that would be dazzling.
Yeah, I was actually planning to take photos of my two projects today. But here in the Bergisches Land, it looks like it’s going to stay rainy and dark again today... ugh.
First, I’ll have a second cup of coffee, then see what appeals to me more today: continuing on one of the two projects... or starting a third one. LOL
I’m working on a new pattern. I’ve set a goal to knit at least 50 g of yarn into it today. And since the weather here in Swabia isn’t exactly inviting for outings, I’ll also be able to continue writing, knitting, and hopefully photographing a project I’ve already started.
I’m planning to make a few stars.
I also still need to finish my cat-shaped neck pillow. That’s enough for the weekend.
Have fun with all your projects, whether handicrafts or something else.
Best wishes
Petra
