I’m working through my WIPs. Over the holiday, I finished knitting a triangular shawl. Now it’s time for the colorful children’s blanket—it’s been sitting around for a while.
I started working on a Scoodie yesterday. I still had some really lovely, cozy winter wool left over from last year, and yesterday that ball of yarn finally decided what it wanted to become. ^^
I’m currently crocheting a reindeer with a sleigh as a Christmas decoration.
I’ll be glad when I’m done with it, because there are really a lot of small
to tiny pieces. It’s annoying and takes a long time.
In between, I keep crocheting a little ghost for a tea light,
so that I’ll definitely have plenty for Halloween.
I’m also really eager to start on my new sweater
as well as my new Christmas table runner.
My to-do list keeps growing and something is added every day.
Yesterday I crocheted the hood and today I crocheted and sewed on the pockets for my cardigan. Now I’m thinking about what to tackle next... I still need to crochet a second sock, the sleeves for my daughter’s shirt... or should I do something else first?
I’ve been knitting a very simple scarf for what feels like an eternity. It’s so relaxing after spending almost the whole day with my parents, who need a lot of help right now. Looks like it’s going to be a long scarf.
I’ve been crocheting a batwing sweater for myself for a while now. I decided to use fairly thin yarn, so it’s taking a bit of time. Since I spend most of my time in the office, this yarn is the better choice. But I’m on vacation next week, and I plan to finish it then. Fingers crossed...
I’m currently knitting a pair of wrist warmers at the same time—first one section on the first one,
then the same section on the second. After having to unravel it what feels like 20 times,
hopefully it’ll work out now.
I’m currently crocheting an angel for a coworker. I still need to crochet one arm and the wings, then sew them on—and it’ll be done.
And for one of my husband’s coworkers, she wants a Minion about 15–20 cm tall. The body and the pants are almost finished. I’ll continue this over the weekend, since I have time off then.
I’m currently knitting a baby sleeping bag—I didn’t realize it would get this long. If I have enough yarn left, I’ll make a hat and mittens to go with it; let’s see if I can finish by Monday.
The finished project might eventually become a pattern.
I’m still working on the second shark oven mitt, and I still have to weave in countless ends in my crocheted shawl (I can do that tomorrow on the train ride!). Yes, and then I can start something new. My options are roses made with Creative Bubble, a crocheted net, or a knitted Dragon Beam!
On the crafting front, I have several projects in the works—mainly gift wrapping and decorations. I’m also knitting knee warmers for the winter (for some inexplicable reason, my knees have been getting cold lately when I sit at the computer for a long time—I guess it’s just getting old :-)) and crocheting a bath mat out of hemp—though unfortunately, I’m making very slow progress on that one.
I’m trying to earn the “Wool Emperor” title and am working hard on my chair cover.
At the same time, I’m also making a birthday gift for my daughter’s friend. My little one picked out a little deer for her.
And in the evening, while watching TV, I’m still working on a row for my mom’s Christmas gift. Since the pattern just repeats now, it’s easy to do on the side.
