Question about a type of yarn

Hi everyone,

I have a question about a type of yarn.

I still have a small amount of Lisa Uni by Gründl left.
About four weeks ago, I ordered Lisa Premium by Gründl.

I thought Lisa Uni had been renamed Lisa Premium, but I’ve
now realized that the quality is completely different. The Lisa Uni is
somehow thinner and softer, whereas the Lisa Premium is
comparable to Bravo.

The yardage (LL) is the same for both.

Can you tell me if this is supposed to be the same yarn and they just changed the name,
or if it’s a new type of yarn?

I just looked it up at Gründl: Lisa Uni is no longer in their lineup, and they don’t just rename things like that. Companies have various reasons for changing their product range: different manufacturing techniques, different raw materials, price increases, or perhaps demand for the old yarn wasn’t high enough. “Premium” does sound higher-quality, so I assume the yarn was a bit more expensive.
So if it doesn’t say “Uni” on the label, it’s not “Uni” inside.
All manufacturers change their product lines depending on the season. The Uni line had been around for several years, and according to the website, Gründl seems to be upgrading its product line.

I found that on Amazon. So it’s the same yarn, but still somewhat changed/improved!

There was no difference in price.
The only difference really is in the quality.
