Fun on Wednesday

It’s the middle of the week—we’re halfway through—and the weekend is already just around the corner.
So why not have a little fun?

Why don’t you share your favorite jokes? What makes you laugh every time?
I’m curious to hear them. ^^

My favorite joke right now:

It’s campaign season, and Angela Merkel is visiting a farm. The press is there, of course. After they enter the pigsty, the photographer wants to take a few pictures of Ms. Merkel and the pigs.
Ms. Merkel is, of course, willing to do so, but then says to the journalist: “Just don’t let there be any stupid comments under the picture again. Something along the lines of ‘Merkel and the pigs.’”

The next day, the picture appears in the newspaper. The caption reads:

Chancellor Angela Merkel (3rd from left)

A programmer goes shopping, and his wife tells him what to buy:
“Buy some sausage, and if they have eggs—buy 10.”

In the end, the programmer came home with 10 sausages ^^

Two sheep are walking through the desert.

One says, “I’m so hot, I think I’m going to die of thirst.”
The other replies, “Ahhhh!!!! A sheep that can talk!!!”

Two matches are walking through the desert and are already totally exhausted,
then a hedgehog comes by,
one match says: “Come on, let’s take the bus!” ;-) 

The farmer’s son cries all day because his hamster has died.
The farmer remarks in surprise, “You didn’t cry that much when Grandma died.”
To which the son replies, “Well, I didn’t pay for her with my allowance, either.”

My kids’ favorite joke:
A man from Zurich and a man from Bern go into the woods together. Both have a container they want to fill with snails as quickly as possible. After half an hour,
the man from Zurich has filled his pot. He waits one, two, three, four hours for the man from Bern. Finally, the latter emerges from the woods, sweaty and completely exhausted. He doesn’t have a single snail with him. The man from Zurich asks why it took him so long. The man from Bern replies, “You know, every time I snuck up on a snail from behind, it went ‘scurry, scurry’—and off it went!”
