A woman can never have enough shawls, right?!

One of my shawl patterns is this one:
Crochet pattern triangle shawl for any yarn

(To purchase/download, please click the image)

For this triangle shawl for all seasons, you can basically use any yarn you like—the thinner, the more elegant. Size: any size.

For the size made here, approx. 70 cm x 162 cm, I used 350 g Schachenmayr Cotton Bamboo, 50 g – 120 m, hook size according to the label 3 – 4, here crochet hook 4.0. I would not recommend thicker yarn for visual reasons. I decided not to block the shawl, since the curves of the shell pattern stand out better that way – but that’s a matter of taste.

These crochet skills are required:
chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, front post double crochet (explained).

The PDF pattern is illustrated across 15 pages, but it is not a crochet course. A link/video tip for a crochet course and more is included.

The PDF contains

  • in the first part, a detailed pattern with corresponding images,
  • in the second part, a shorter version, also with images, and
  • last but not least, a scarf/shawl variant in short form
  • no crochet chart - no gauge required

This triangular shawl is a true chameleon—it can also be worn as a poncho. It’s suitable for many occasions and always catches the eye.

Difficulty level: medium - recommended for advanced crafters

Basic knowledge of knitting and crocheting is required:

  • knit and purl stitches
  • yarn over
  • decreases slanting to the right and left (also briefly explained here)
  • two-row seed stitch
  • working from a pattern chart
  • crocheting chain stitches and single crochet stitches
  • It would be helpful if you know how to pick up stitches to the right (there are notes about this in the pattern) - but it is not required

Do you love shawls and want to give a wonderful person a gift that comes from the heart? How about the “Shining Hearts” motif shawl? ♥

Using the materials listed, it has a wingspan of 1.50 m, but it can be crocheted larger or smaller at any time, making it suitable for all ages.

To crochet the shawl, you will need the following:

♦ about 450 meters of 4-ply gradient yarn made of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic
♦ a 3.5 mm crochet hook

You should be able to do the following: chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, double crochet

The pattern describes the first rows step by step with lots of pictures and also includes a crochet chart; after that, you can work from the chart.

Have fun! :)
