Faulty pattern: Vest with leaf pattern (RVO) from the top

I purchased the knitting pattern and brought it to Ursula Petra’s attention that the pattern doesn’t work. She replied that she had sold this pattern many times and no one had ever pointed this out before. However, she confirmed my observation regarding the error. I’m a bit disappointed that I’m not being offered any help to finish the piece. Is it really okay that I have to figure out on my own how to finish the vest? Not a good deal for what I paid!!
