New forum game... I prefer...

I just read this in another forum and thought it could be quite fun
Two terms are given each time, and the next person has to say which one they prefer and why.
Then that person gives two more terms, and so it continues

An example would be:
Terms: car or bicycle
Answer: bicycle, because it’s much nicer to whizz around on it
Next two terms: ...

So I’ll start:
Potatoes or pizza

I prefer pizza because it always makes me feel like I’m on vacation.

Day or night?

I prefer daytime, because you can see more.

Crocheting or knitting?

Crocheting, I’ve already done enough knitting for two lifetimes ;-)

Fish or meat?

Definitely meat—
I like fish too, but I hate the bones, and even if it’s supposed to be boneless fish… I always end up getting some

Mountain or valley?

the mountains, hiking, cycling, and just relaxing. And let’s not forget skiing in the winter!

Summer or winter?

... Definitely summer—I love my garden and get so happy when everything’s in bloom.

Dog or cat?

Cat! I have two awesome house cats, and while I like dogs, I don’t like picking up poop, and I wouldn’t want to walk a dog in all kinds of weather...

Yogurt or pudding?

Yogurt—but only if it’s nice and thick. I don’t like it runny (same goes for pudding).

Tea or coffee? 

Coffee, of course—I couldn’t survive without it.

Sun or rain?

Rain. But only very light rain. Then I don’t have to sneeze.

Boy or girl?

Boy! I’m a girl myself and love my big boy (husband) at home more than anything!

Sweet or sour?

Sweet, of course. I absolutely love chocolate, cake, cookies, etc.!

City or countryside?

I’d go with the countryside, because I like it green and natural.

Hotel or camping?

Camping
I'm more into nature, self-catering, and casual clothes on vacation

Rose or forget-me-not?

Roses — they smell so wonderful

Lego or Playmobil?

Lego—because I grew up with it :-)

Hot or cold? (Weather...)

Cold.... I can't handle anything above 25 degrees at all because of my circulation.....

Repair or buy new?

Repair it!
Only buy a new one if it really can’t be repaired anymore.

Red or blue?

Red—a really beautiful, bright red, like poppies.

Spinach or tomatoes?

Spinach—it makes you strong like Popeye.
And I love it in all sorts of variations.

Beach vacation or adventure vacation? 

Of course, a beach vacation — I need water and the beach, to feel the soft sand under my feet; there I can really unwind, and of course I wouldn’t forget my crochet stuff either.

Dolls or teddy bears?

Teddy bears—because I still don’t have a beloved teddy bear (but I like dolls, too ;) )

Pajamas or naked?

Naked—free of everything, of course only at home ☺

Shower or bath?

Showering — this big woman finds it harder and harder to get out of the tub as she gets older... lol

Balcony or garden?

Garden—even if it’s a lot more work than a balcony :-)

Unicorn or owl?

Owl—because our cat sometimes looks like one!

A movie at the cinema or on TV?

TV, because I can do my crafts better while watching it.
Flat shoes or high heels?

only flat shoes, since we have cobblestone streets here, you won’t get very far with high heels,

cooking or baking?

Cooking — when it comes to baking, I only have 2 recipes that turn out really well.

Full moon or new moon

Full moon, because I like to watch it and, if possible, take pictures of it, too.

Fruit or vegetables?

Fruit, I’m just a sweetie. ;-)

Summer or winter? 

Winter
because it’s knitting and crochet season :-)))) and I love snow

Lakes or mountains?

Mountains — way up high, the world stands still.

Car or bike??

Mountains! I love looking at the mountains and looking down from the mountains, and enjoying the nature and the silence up there.

Merino or cotton? 

Cotton, because I’m a huge fan of Schachenmayr Catania :-)

Action movie or romance movie? 

Romantic movie—because I love crying while watching movies :-)

Jazz or hip-hop?

Actually, neither, but jazz is the lesser of the two evils.

Jogging or Nordic walking

I prefer jogging when I actually do it

Fabric trousers or jeans?

Always fabric trousers... I've only had 3 or 4 pairs of jeans in my whole life, and I've never felt comfortable in them

Chocolate or vanilla?

Vanilla! Because I only like chocolate as chocolate and not cold (not even from the fridge)

Car or public transportation?

I have to admit, the car. Public transportation can be really inconvenient sometimes.

Book or e-book

E-book.
I come from the book and library field and resisted e-books for a long time. But now I’ve come to appreciate the advantages—you can carry thousands of books with you in a small, lightweight device that fits in any purse. That way, I always have my library with me.

Late sleeper or early riser? 

Late riser! Although... I only sleep 7 hours; I just go to bed late. I’m a real night owl. When I was still working, I always had to get up early, with no flexible hours (school). Now that I’m retired, I enjoy staying up as late as I want and sleeping in.

Sweet or savory breakfast?

Something savory—sweet stuff makes me feel a little queasy

Skirt or pants?

Trousers... just suit my style better

Satin bed linen or cotton bed linen?

Satin bedding—it feels so nice and stays cool in the summer.

Night! I don’t really wake up until the evening.

Novel or nonfiction?

Novel
