Cable pattern headband

Hi,

I’m looking for a pattern—or maybe even a ready-made “cable pattern headband.” My daughter would like one for her birthday (late November).
It should be knitted in pink using thick yarn. She’d like it to be lined with fleece. The cables can be made from 2 or 3 strands and knitted with thick yarn.

I think I could manage it with the right pattern, but if anyone happens to want to knit something like this quickly, that would be fine with me, too.

Best regards
Rumpelstilzchen

Hi Rumpelstilzchen
I think the most practical thing to do would be for you to go to the shop, find a headband that you or your daughter might like,
and then contact the seller of that specific headband directly. Some sellers are open to custom orders, while others aren’t.
Not all sellers here on the forum are likely reading this. So picking one out and reaching out to them might be a better solution.
In any case, I hope that you or your daughter get a lovely headband.

Hi muetzekatze,
thanks for your reply. It’s a shame that sellers don’t read the forum. The headbands offered weren’t quite what my daughter was looking for. That’s why I’m trying to find someone here who can share a pattern or show—or sell—a finished one—

Hello Rumpelstilzchen
some sellers read the forum, but not all of them. Maybe someone will still respond to your request; I hope so for you.

Hi Rumpelstilzchen,

I’d love to make this for you, but I just don’t have the time. I’ve already received so many Christmas orders that, unfortunately, I can’t take any more. Other sellers might be in a similar situation. Plus, I’ve accepted an offer for a Christmas market in three weeks and still need to finish up a few things for that.

It might also help if you post a link to the headband you want—maybe not everyone can picture what it should look like, or that you’d like it lined with fleece.

Maybe next time

Best regards

Nici

Hello Sternenwelt, hello fellow readers,

my daughter saw this, and I’ve now found this pattern here:        jurindemachtwas.blogspot.de/2014/10/anleitung-stirnband--zopfmuster-stricken.html

she’d like it to be a bit wider and in pink, and to make sure it doesn’t scratch, it should be lined with fleece.

Okay, I guess I’ll try making it myself. At least now I have a pattern to go by :-)

Have a nice day and best regards

I’ve already finished knitting two headbands. How do I post photos here?
I don’t want to sell any of them, though!

Hi Rumpelstilzchen,
I’m glad the knitting worked out. :- )

If you’d like to upload photos, there are two options.
Photos of items made using patterns from Crazypatterns can be uploaded directly to the product page for the respective pattern, and here’s how:

Just click where the red arrow is pointing.
That will take you to this page:

There, you can share a few details about the knitting project if you’d like, as well as upload the photo.

If the knitted headband wasn’t made using a pattern from Crazypatterns, you can upload the photo—or even multiple photos—right here in this thread.
Here’s how:

A small window will open, showing “Image Info,” “Link,” and “Upload” at the top.
Click “Upload,” and you’ll be taken to the “Browse” option, where you can select your file.
Then click “Send to Server” and confirm by clicking the green “OK” button, which is a few centimeters below.
It’s important to click “Send to Server” and then “OK”—otherwise, it won’t work.
During the upload, you’ll see a small preview of your image—this is just a small section, but you can use the scroll bars and your mouse to scroll if you want to view the entire image again.
Good luck! If you have any questions, I’ll check back in this thread later.
Best regards, Mod Josefa

Edit:
If the pictures at the top of this post are too small, just click on them briefly with your mouse, and they’ll appear larger.
