Patterns for Cute Baby Shoes—Knitted, Crocheted, Sewn, and Felted

Hello dear readers and hello dear sellers,
Baby booties are always a big hit when it comes to craft patterns. This thread is all about cute baby booties—whether they’re knitted, crocheted, felted, or sewn is up to you.
Sellers may post 1–2 patterns for baby booties here, including a link, a photo, and at least 4 lines of text for each. I hope you all enjoy your baby booties.

Crochet pattern for baby sneakers; basic crochet skills (double crochet, single crochet, chain stitches, half double crochet, slip stitches) are required. You’ll need cotton yarn (e.g. Catania) and a size 2.5 crochet hook. The pattern is written for two sizes, with sole lengths of approx. 9.5 cm and 10.5 cm. Of course, this also depends on whether you crochet tightly or loosely. The pattern can also be crocheted with thicker yarn, which will make the shoes larger. It is well illustrated and easy to follow.

Crochet pattern for sweet baby booties with a butterfly on the side. For these you’ll need cotton yarn (potholder yarn, e.g. Twister or Joker), a size 3.5 crochet hook, and basic crochet skills (single crochet, chain stitches, double crochet, slip stitches). The pattern is easy to follow, and you can have the booties finished in one evening.  It includes photos and is written for 2 sizes. This gives you a quick Christmas gift or a surprise for a new baby.

By now I have quite a number of patterns for baby shoes, so it’s hard for me to present just 2 pairs.

I chose the Baby Feel-Good Shoes because this pattern is the most popular one in my shop. I suspect that’s because the shoes can be designed in so many different ways: they can be used for boys as well as girls, there are 2 different pretty patterns available that are easy to knit, and the shoes can also be decorated with little buttons or appliqués according to your own ideas, so that every pair becomes a truly unique piece.
The shoes are knitted. I used a cotton blend yarn and 3.5 mm knitting needles for them. But I’ve also heard from many people that the shoes turn out especially lovely when made from merino / baby yarn.
