I’m going to address this directly to those of you
who aren’t sellers on Crazypatterns, but buyers!

First of all, THANK YOU for your loyalty! <3

Do you have any suggestions for changes?
Are you satisfied?
Do you have questions about the forum?
Do you have any general questions?
Are you regular customers or occasional buyers?
How did you first hear about Crazypatterns?
What would you like to see in a pattern?
What is your type of craft? Crochet? Knitting? Crafting?

So many questions, and I hope to get lots of answers from you!

Warm regards, Heike :-)

Hi Heike, I’m generally satisfied with CP and the patterns; in the forum, I’d maybe like a little less advertising and more discussion threads. I came across CP by chance while Googling “amigurumi,” and I’ve been a regular customer ever since. I’d think it would be great if the authors would also comment on the uploaded photos. For my part, I’m always proud as punch when an author likes
my work. Best regards, Biggie

@ criseldis

I’ve just noticed that only half of my message to you came through; I wrote it on my phone, maybe that’s why? It went on ... (it’s not that big after all) ;-)

But I’m not originally from Saarland; I moved here 12 years ago, but my heart still belongs to the Münsterland! :-)

Thank you very much for your feedback. I think it’s important to hear the other side too and to know what can be improved, and whether anything needs improving at all!

@ Biggie

Yes, that forum issue can be changed; I’d be happy about that too!
As users, you can also create topics if you have a question or are having trouble with something,
or just because!
A forum is there so people can exchange ideas!

And about the gallery, I agree with you there!
I can only speak for myself here; I don’t always think of it,
and I think it would be great if the designer got a notification from CP
that their product had been posted!
I do believe that you’re proud; I feel the same way about every finished piece,
and of course then you want feedback too!

Best wishes, Heike

Dear Heike

Well, I think CP is absolutely great, and ever since I stumbled upon it a little over a year ago (I don’t remember exactly how—probably through amigurumi), I’ve benefited from so many great patterns. Sometimes I even find the patterns too detailed to print out, especially when there are too many pictures. I feel the same way as Biggie about the gallery—and I’m always so happy about every contact with the authors, who’ve practically become friends!
In the forum, I like topics like “My Oldest Handmade Project.”
As a Gemini, I can’t settle on just one technique: from crocheting amigurumis to filet lace curtains to delicate snowflakes; knitting everything from socks and gloves to lace shawls; cross-stitch embroidery on towels (I inherited a few!); sewing—now mostly little things, but I used to make a lot of dresses; and doing crafts every now and then, especially origami.

Best regards, Christina

Hi Christina,

would it be helpful if the patterns with lots of photos were also available in a print-friendly version?
In other words, with the photos at the very end, so everyone can decide for themselves whether to print them out or not.

Hi CreatOwl

That would be wonderful for me, since, depending on knitting or crocheting experience, a quick glance at the picture is often enough.
Skipping individual pages when printing doesn’t always work!
For more complicated patterns, it would sometimes be helpful if two different colors were used in the pattern so the process is easier to follow (slightly thicker, lighter-colored yarn).

Thank you so much for all your hard work—browsing through the patterns is just so much fun, as is making them!

Best wishes, Christina
