Forum Games: Looking for New Ideas

Dear users and authors,
what new forum games can I start for you?

City, Country, River? Would that work as a forum game?

Let’s just give this a try.

There was a game from my time as a writer.
You start by writing the opening sentence:

“Gerold is standing at the train station. His shoes are polished.”
Then the next person responds. They now have the problem of figuring out why Gerold is standing at the train station and why his shoes are polished. There are many possible answers.

You always respond to the last sentence. The sentences that had already been written were then folded over.

This exercise was meant to “loosen up” the group and spark creativity. The things that came out of it were brilliant. At some point, the story was read aloud, and we were rolling with laughter.

But would this work here? It should just be one sentence, or at most two.
