Chokers Are Trending // The ’90s Are Back

Dear users, dear authors,
Choker necklaces are still, or rather once again, in style. The ’90s are back. ; )
Chokers are those necklaces or chains that fit very snugly around the neck. If you’d like to try out whether they might be for you, you can test it with a shoelace, gift ribbon, or satin ribbon. If it’s too loose, it will slip; if it’s too tight, it will feel constricting. So a happy medium would be good. :- ) There are probably fashion-conscious people who actually wear a pretty tied ribbon as an accessory.
So far, there are no patterns specifically for chokers on Crazypatterns, which I think is a shame, since there is definitely demand and chokers can surely also be crocheted, knitted, felted, embroidered, or even knooked.
Is there an author who would like to take this on?

At the moment, this necklace from the Crazypatterns shop is the closest thing to a choker.
Magic Necklace, knitted

Patterns for slightly looser necklaces — we do have quite a few of those in the shop.
Choker bands and necklaces to wear with a dirndl are definitely an alternative.

Maybe you’d like to click through them?

Would that be something for you?
Do you like them, or not really?
Let me know.

@Authors,
if you have relevant patterns, you can promote them here with the usual information. Have fun.

Hi Josefa,
that’s a lovely idea for a quick little project — I like it.
I’ll pick up on that and experiment a bit this weekend.
Thanks and kind regards
Caro

Dear Josefa,
great idea. My little girl wears them every day. I’ll definitely be making some choker necklaces soon—my little girl thinks they’re great, of course!
