Sewing/crafting craft foam (?) or felt wall decorations for a kids’ room

and just wanted to ask how to make something like this.
Is it more like craft foam, or actually felt?
Are there any templates or patterns for something like this?

Wall decorations are always in demand.
So far, I haven’t found anything on this topic in the pattern section
—decor and home accents, yes, but nothing for the wall.
I always think things like this are really cute,
and I’m sure they’d look great in a kids’ room, too.
You could give them as a gift to new moms, for the wall of the kids’ room, if they don’t have anything like that yet.
It’s definitely a great gift from a godmother to a child, too, if the child is a bit older and can say which design they’d like on the wall.

As a kid, I always really liked stars and things like that on the wall.
I had these glowing stars that charged up with sunlight during the day and then glowed a little at night. That’s nice for falling asleep :)

I’m sure you could do this with other designs too.

Well, I do think owls are cute now and then, but finding this picture was more of a coincidence.
Because Josasu had such a cute owl.
I guess that gave me a taste for them.
I recently found
a wonderful amigurumi penguin, even with a pattern,
and I’m going to give it a try. I’ve still got plenty of grey yarn left anyway
for the penguin’s belly and the inside of its wings.
I’m actually a little too old for kids’ room decorations, though.
