This traditional bodice is laced with a crocheted chain-stitch cord; alternatively,
traditional buttons can also be added – just as you like.

The detailed instructions refer to size S/M – it is stretchy thanks to the pattern and lacing, up to size 42. Any desired size is possible – easy to adapt thanks to the simple pattern – also suitable for beginners.

Basic knitting skills and crocheting chain stitches are sufficient (everything is explained with pictures in the separate PDF)

Limone/Catania cotton yarn, 100% cotton, 50 g – 125 m, color choice
as desired, here 8 colors (some leftover yarn); according to the ball band for
hook size 2.5 – 3.5 mm; used here: 3.5 mm crochet hook.
You will also need: yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors. A stitch marker
is helpful for beginners, pins for blocking.

Worn as size S = oversized; sizes M/L (stretchy), easy to adjust to other sizes or oversized fits.

Comfortable – light – this knitted top can be worn in all seasons, even in winter with a thin turtleneck underneath. But this tunic is actually intended for summer.

Material:
Used here: 450 g ribbon cotton effect yarn, 50 g – 90 m for
needle size 5.0 to 6.0; gauge according to the yarn label: 16 stitches x 23
rows = 10 cm x 10 cm. The 450 g is enough up to size XL. Larger sizes
require 50 g more per size. Gradient yarns with a comparable
gauge are also suitable. Circular knitting needles 6.0 with 80 cm cable length;
two additional circular knitting needles for holding stitches (or
stitch holders), measuring tape, stitch markers, pins, yarn needle for
weaving in ends, scissors; I like to use row counters.

Everyone has good and bad days now and then, and these hearts express the different moods. The little hearts are great to use as bag charms or keychains, since they are only 8 and 11 cm tall.

Ideal for beginners. Single crochet stitches and a few embroidered details. Quick to make and always different, depending on how you use the stuffing and embroider the face. You’ll quickly experience a sense of accomplishment, and the results aren’t always the same. Great fun for everyone :-)

Basically, all the patterns in my shop can be called beginner patterns, because they include lots of pictures and detailed explanations. And all stitches that are not standard stitches are always explained again in detail with pictures and descriptions.

Still, I’d like to recommend a few patterns to you here. I’ve chosen patterns that, for one thing, are made with leftover yarn, so they’re perfect for trying things out. And for another, they are quick to crochet and therefore guarantee quick successes.

Do you have small children at home or know some you’d like to give a gift to? Then these crocheted chocolates for the play kitchen and grocery store are a great project. You can mix the colors however you like. The stitches used are chain stitches, slip stitches, and single crochet stitches.

These jars are a lovely decoration and gift idea. They are made using only chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet, and double crochet. Depending on the size, you should plan on 150 to 200 m of yarn. The pattern is simple, an easy-to-follow mesh pattern, with lots of knit stitches in between.
The pattern comes in three sizes, from teen to large adult size.

This infinity scarf in a mesh pattern, knitted with sock yarn, is very well suited for beginners.

Here’s the pattern.



The biggest difficulty is probably that it is knitted in the round. It is a long tube that is then joined at the ends. This also means there is no front or back; it looks equally good all the way around.
You can knit the infinity scarf in one color or, as in the pictures, in two colors, just as you like. I can’t guarantee quick success; it takes time, but it is very relaxing to knit. Mine has a circumference of 155 cm and used 840 m of sock yarn. Of course, you can also make it shorter.

If you're a crochet beginner looking for a quick success, this pretty heart pendant is just right for you.
As a keychain or bag charm, the heart is made from leftover yarn in no time.



For the heart you'll need:

Tiger Lokman touches everyone with his slightly uncertain look. He would love to be taken into your arms. I designed Lokman especially for knitters who want to try making a knitted animal for the first time. Of course, there is some sewing involved, and there are also decreases and increases, but overall he has deliberately been kept simple, without gussets, short rows, and the like. You can knit Lokman either in the round with a set of double-pointed needles or in rows – both patterns are included.
