Summer Clothing

Dear users, dear authors,
on Crazypatterns there are now so many patterns for clothing and summer clothing that you can use them to wonderfully spruce up your summer wardrobe.
More sewn summer clothing.
More crocheted summer clothing.
More knitted summer clothing.
We also have embroidery patterns for embellishing clothing and bags.
Also think of the boho trend with long skirts and boleros and little jackets when you handcraft your summer clothing. Of course, you’ll also need tunics, ponchos, shirts, tops, mesh shirts, cardigans / vests, shawls, triangular shawls, lace shawls, dragon tail shawls, and matching bags.

Tip:
With store-bought fashion, the fit may not be right or the material may not be ideal. You don’t have that problem with handmade fashion, because you decide what the fit, cut, and material should be like. That’s a good argument, don’t you think?
Give it a try.

@Autoren,
this is a promotional thread for all authors. 2-3 patterns each are enough.
Don’t forget the link and image. Also include material information, technique information, difficulty level information, and details about what makes the pattern special. Good luck.

Crochet pattern: “Spotlights” Summer Top - 2 ways to wear it -

--> Get the pattern for all sizes here

This airy summer top is perfect for the beach or for your next evening outfit when paired with a matching camisole and light-colored 3/4-length trousers. If you extend the main pattern by several pattern repeats, you can easily turn it into a great beach dress.

Through two snap fasteners, you can wear this top in two different ways. One option is classic straps, which can be undone at the back and tied together at the neck, turning it into a halter top.

A total of four different patterns are used here. The patterns are fully charted and also provided in writing, so you can decide whether to work from the crochet chart or the written instructions.

Difficulty level: Easy

Required skills:

Chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, picot

Yarn:

Approx. 200 - 300 g of any 4-ply Bobbel yarn - 1000 -1500 m running length, 2 snap fasteners Recommended hook size 3.5

If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to help

Knitting pattern for a women’s skirt

Material
4-ply gradient yarn, 50% cotton / 50% polyacrylic, approx. 250 g, yardage 1,000 m
Elastic, slightly longer than waist circumference
Needle size
3.5
Difficulty level
easy for experienced knitters

This elegant knitted women’s skirt with a playful lace pattern and ruffle trim can be adjusted to your own size with the help of elastic sewn into the waistband.
If the skirt should be knitted a little narrower or wider, simply work one or two pattern repeats of 10 stitches each more or fewer.
The skirt length can also be adjusted to your liking.

The skirt was made with 4-ply gradient yarn and knitted in the round.
It can of course also be knitted in a solid color.

It can be worn both at the office and while shopping in town or taking a walk in the park.

The pattern is suitable for anyone who can knit lace patterns.
It consists of 5 pages that explain in writing and with a knitting chart, as well as included photos, how the skirt is knitted.

This way to the pattern

The two crochet dresses, “Svenja” and “Sommerblume,” can be worn all year round, including in summer.

The patterns each cover sizes 86–128.

Only standard stitches are used for these dresses, so even beginners can easily crochet them.

A detailed description guides you through the crochet process.
For clarification, a chart in crochet chart format is also included in the pattern.

However, the included cut and the gauge make it possible to make any size!

This poncho shawl is making waves ... waves of enthusiasm. It looks fantastic for any occasion, and the special thing about it is: You can wear it both as a poncho and as a triangular shawl—depending on the occasion or your mood.

It is wonderfully light and airy, and pleasantly warm on your shoulders, back, and arms on cool summer evenings.

The two-part knitting pattern, totaling 20 pages, explains all the steps with photos. The pattern is explained in detail in two charts that you can print out. I would describe the difficulty level as intermediate.

The following basic knitting and crochet skills are required:
  • knitting knit and purl stitches
  • working yarn overs
  • right- and left-leaning decreases (also briefly explained here)
  • two-row seed stitch
  • knitting from a pattern chart
  • crocheting chain stitches and single crochet
  • It would be helpful if you know how to pick up stitches to the right (the pattern includes notes on this)

This summer top made from thin cotton is airy and lightweight thanks to its pattern and the thin cotton, and it can be adjusted to all sizes. It can be knitted longer, shorter, tighter, or wider. Here we are working from a size 38-42. The sweater goes well with both skirts and pants. It can also be worn year-round with a shirt underneath.

What makes it special: The summer top has almost no seams. It only needs to be sewn or crocheted together at the top of the shoulder. It is knitted from the bottom up, in the round up to the armhole.

The knitting pattern includes 15 pages with lots of photos and is also easy for beginners to make with the following basic skills.

The following basic skills are required:
  • knit and purl stitches
  • knit yarn overs
  • knitting in the round
  • binding off stitches
  • increasing stitches from the strand between stitches
  • sewing or crocheting knitted pieces together (only at the shoulder)
  • color changes
  • crocheting chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, and slip stitches
Many steps (including tips for them) are shown with photos in the pattern. All measurements are given in cm.

You will need the following materials (for the size 38-42 described here):
  • 200 g cotton (here: yardage 150 m/50 g) in white
  • 1 x 50 g (or leftovers) cotton in pink
  • 1 x 50 g (or leftovers) cotton in light lilac, alternatively powder pink
  • One size 3 and one size 3.5 circular knitting needle, 60 or 80 cm each
  • A size 3.5 crochet hook
  • A yarn needle for weaving in ends
  • A few stitch markers (e.g., small loops made from yarn)

This tunic is knitted with thin cotton and is airy and light thanks to the pattern arrangement. It can be worn in various combinations—with leggings as well as pants, Bermuda shorts, or jeans. And it can also be worn all year round, for example over a shirt.

What makes this tunic special is that you have almost no seams. It only needs to be sewn together at the top of the shoulder and for a small section under the arm. It is knitted from the bottom up, in rounds up to the armhole.

The knitting pattern describes the stitch patterns in detail, with all measurements. This means the pattern is also suitable for knitting beginners who have the following basic skills.

    • knit knit and purl stitches
    • work a yarn over
    • knit in rounds
    • bind off stitches
    • decrease stitches to the right and left
    • increase stitches at the side (there is a video tip as a link)
    • pick up stitches to knit on (here the ribbing at the V-neck)
    • sew knitted pieces together (at the shoulder and under the arm)
    • change colors (for the stripes)
    • crochet slip stitches
Many work steps (including tips for them) are shown with photos.

Of course, you can choose a different color combination to suit your taste.

The summer hat is crocheted with filet crochet yarn. Since the yarn is worked double, you’ll need 2 skeins of 100 g each, with a length of 560 m. For this pattern, yarn by Magic and a size 2.5 crochet hook were used.

Required skills:

- single crochet
- crocheting in the round
- increasing stitches

The Etosalia mesh shirt is a great summer top. It can be worn over a top and spruces up your outfit. It can also be worn on slightly cooler days with a long-sleeved shirt underneath.

Since it is crocheted with relatively thick yarn, the project works up quickly. Because it has a straight neckline, two identical pieces are crocheted and then sewn together at the shoulders and sides.

The following stitches need to be crocheted:
chain stitches, double crochet, single crochet, treble crochet (the treble crochet stitches only every few rows)

Materials: I calculated the yarn amounts generously so there will also be enough for longer
tops, so you may have some yarn left over.
Size 36/38:300g, size 40/42: 400g, size 44/46: 500g, size 48/50:
600g, size 52/54: 700g
Alize Cotton Gold, 50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic, yardage 360m/100g
1 size 5 crochet hook
1 embroidery needle for weaving in the ends
1 pair of scissors

Perfect for warm days - whether worn over a bikini at the beach or over a tank top in the city - always an eye-catcher!

The mesh pattern is sturdy and won’t warp, as the overlaps alternate.

This pattern is absolutely beginner-friendly!

The pattern includes a detailed schematic for size 38/40.
However, the gauge in combination with the schematic makes it possible to knit any size!

And here is the pattern and more details...
