Patterns for Good-Luck Charms

This thread is all about cute good luck charms of every kind. There’s sure to be something for everyone, because you can always use a good luck charm.

Then I'd like to introduce the first lucky charm.

This little cat was created in 2013 because of a customer request. She wanted a lucky charm in the shape of a cat for her car.
So, no sooner said than done, I grabbed my crochet hook and yarn, and this little amigurumi cat was created.
It will be about 10-12 cm tall and is quite sturdy.
It may not be a "typical" lucky charm like a four-leaf clover, for example, but this cat was crocheted as one.
Back then, the customer also explained to me why it should be a cat: in her opinion, cats bring good luck because, for one thing, they are said to have 9 lives, and for another, they usually land unharmed on all 4 paws. Well, those reasons are pretty convincing, don't you think?
