Tutorial: Learning to Crochet: Increasing Post Double Crochet

Hello,
here I’d like to show you how you can increase front post double crochet.

Of course, this is just one option; there are other variations too.


Front post double crochet around the post double crochet from the previous round

Front post double crochet around the “regular double crochet” from the previous round
(this “regular double crochet” was created from an increase in the previous round )

Now we need to increase, and crochet 1 regular double crochet into the post double crochet from the previous round

And now crochet the front post double crochet around the same post double crochet from the previous round

This gives you, on the one hand, a neat increase, and on the other hand, if you’re crocheting, for example,
a hat in rounds, there’s no need to count stitches,
because every post double crochet that comes after a “regular double crochet” is increased
