Dear users, dear authors,

Knitting pattern for traditional bodice / top

This traditional bodice is laced at the front with a crocheted chain-stitch cord; alternatively, traditional buttons can also be attached – just as you like.

The detailed instructions are for size S/M – stretchy thanks to the pattern and the lacing, up to size 42. All desired sizes possible – easy to adjust thanks to the simple pattern – also suitable for beginners. 

Basic knitting skills and crocheting chain stitches are all you need
(everything is explained with pictures in the separate PDF)

We need approx. 250 g of a yarn with 50 g – 125 m to 130 m yardage for needle sizes 3 – 4 and a gauge according to the ball band
approx. 22 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm; buttons, cord, or velvet ribbon if needed,
if it is not crocheted.
Used here: 100% merino yarn, denim blue, 50 g – 130 m yardage;
3.5 mm knitting needles and 3.0 mm crochet hook.

Knitting Pattern Tunic ALLROUND

Worn as size S = oversized; size M/L (stretchy), easy to adapt to other sizes or an oversized fit.

Comfortable – lightweight – this knitted top can be worn in every season, even in winter with a thin turtleneck underneath. But this tunic is really meant for summer.

Basic knitting skills are enough.

Material:
Used here: 450 g ribbon cotton-effect yarn, 50 g – 90 m for
needle size 5.0 to 6.0; gauge according to the yarn label: 16 stitches x 23
rows = 10 cm x 10 cm. The 450 g are enough up to size XL. For larger sizes,
add 50 g more per size. Gradient yarns are also suitable.
Also needed: circular knitting needles 6.0 with an 80 cm cable length; two additional
circular knitting needles for holding stitches (or stitch holders),
measuring tape, stitch markers, pins, yarn needle for weaving in ends, scissors.

The 1980s were really something special fashion-wise...
... but what has stayed and is still (or already back) on trend are puff sleeves!

Beautifully romantic sweaters like this can be worn in any season!
The yarn used—a blend of silk, mohair, camel, and merino—supports the lightness of this sweater! Silkhair or something similar also works perfectly!

The boat neckline adds to the effect.

This project is absolutely suitable for beginners, as the pattern is kept very simple.

All patterns used are described in detail—stitch by stitch, and a knitting chart also helps with the knitting process.

This pattern is designed for sizes S-M and L-XL.
However, the included schematic and the gauge make it possible to work any size!

The pull-through scarf DONAR



Pull-through scarves are ideal companions for our dear little ones, since without knots there is not such a great risk of strangulation.

The scarf is loosely wrapped around the shoulder and secured simply by pulling one end through the opening. No knot or button is needed!

This pattern is also ideal for using up leftovers. You can knit the scarf with any type of yarn. The red scarf shown is made from leftover Wollmeise sock yarn, and the purple scarf from leftover gradient yarn / Bobbel.

You will find two versions of Donar in the pattern. One without a lace pattern for boys and unisex, and a more playful version with a lace pattern for girls.

You’ll need these materials at home:

This poncho shawl with its delicate waves delights people everywhere. It suits every occasion, whether at the beach, in a cafe, in a restaurant, or on walks on mild summer evenings.

What makes it special: You can wear it both as a poncho and as a triangular shawl - depending on the occasion or your mood.

It is wonderfully light and airy, and on cool summer evenings it keeps your shoulders, back, and arms pleasantly warm.



The two-part knitting pattern has 20 pages in total, with all steps explained using photos. The pattern is explained in detail in two charts that you can print out. I would describe the difficulty level as intermediate.

The following basic knitting and crochet skills are required:

• knitting knit and purl stitches
• knitting yarn overs
• right-leaning and left-leaning decreases (also briefly explained here)
• two-row seed stitch
• knitting from a chart
• crocheting chain stitches and single crochet

Diamant is a knitted scarf or stole with a simple lace pattern. It is ideal for cool mornings or evenings.

It is knitted with merino silk, 2 x 100 g at 400 m each.
Of course, any other yarn with the same yardage is also suitable. The pattern is beginner-friendly, as only basic skills are needed. The pattern is written out row by row, but is also shown as a chart.

Ideal for gradient yarn and cakes.

JUNO



Juno is an airy, loose, lightweight summer shawl. Not only is it fun to knit in summer, it’s also fun to wear.

You will receive a 10-page pattern including a complete electronic knitting chart as well as written instructions.

What do you need to know?

• knit stitches
• purl stitches
• knit stitches together
• yarn overs
• increase stitches from the crossed strand

Everything included:

You’ll need these materials at home:

• 1 skein of gradient yarn from Garnzauber, 1200 m, 3-ply
• alternatively, sock yarn will also work, or
• lace yarn
• circular knitting needle 3.5 mm (100 cm)
• 1 stitch marker
• scissors
• yarn needle

The Balunaria triangular shawl is knitted sideways with a simple lace pattern. I used a wonderfully soft, shiny, and beautifully draping microfiber yarn.


The following knitting skills are required:
casting on stitches, knit stitches, purl stitches, yarn overs, purling 5 stitches together, casting on new stitches at the end of a row
casting on, binding off stitches

The measurements of the shawl:**
Length 210 cm, height at the highest point 49 cm

Material:
between 800 and 900 m of yarn (depending on the desired size of the shawl),
Used by me for this shawl: Mercan Batik by Himalaya color (59)517; if you prefer it in a solid color, you can also use Mercan uni,
yardage 260 m/100 g ball

The shawl can also be knitted with other yarn; if the yarn is much thinner, I would recommend knitting more pattern repeats up to the middle so that the size is reached.

Circular knitting needle size 3.5, at least 80 cm long (even longer is more comfortable)

You’ll need cotton yarn (140 m per 50 g) in two different colors and 3.5 mm knitting needles. The pattern is written out row by row, and there’s also a knitting chart.


Summer has really gotten going here, so airy, lightweight clothing is just what a woman needs! Tunic LINNEA is wonderfully “cooling,” because the wave pattern lets plenty of air through! This shirt is an ideal companion for the beach and pool, and if it needs to be a bit dressier, just add a wide belt and it becomes an evening going-out outfit in no time! The detailed knitting pattern is written for sizes 36-40 (42-46) and 48-52, and with needle size no. 6 this little piece knits up in a flash! I used IKARIA yarn by Schachenmayr, but of course you can also use any other tape yarns for needle size 6 with a yardage of approx. 200-220 m/100 g!

This baby pinafore dress grows with your child for at least 1 year, possibly even longer, and fits from 6 to more than 18 months. It gradually transforms very easily into a pinafore skirt. The raised straps at the back ensure a good fit in every size.

Other special benefits:

• The pinafore dress can be worn all year round. In summer, it can be worn over a T-shirt or camisole, and in winter over a sweater. 
• The dress is knitted in one piece from the bottom up, so it has no seams.
• It is also very easy for beginners to make. However, some basic knowledge is required.

The following materials are needed:

• Circular knitting needle size 3, 60 cm long 
  
• 100 g cotton (150 m/50 g) in the main color 
  
• 50 g or leftover yarn for the stripes 
  
• 13 heart-shaped buttons, 1 cm in diameter 
  
• 1 yarn needle for weaving in ends 
  
• A few stitch markers

For this shawl, I played around a bit with the shape, and the result is a large, lightweight shoulder shawl that you can style in many ways.
The shape is reminiscent of a swallowtail, and it is created through different increases.

Whether you knit it with gradient yarn or in a solid color, larger or smaller, there are no limits to your creativity. 

For the shawl, I used the following materials :

• 1,100 meters of gradient yarn with lurex, 4-ply
• 1 circular knitting needle, size 3.5 mm 
  
• 2 stitch markers
• 1 needle for weaving in ends
• 1 pair of scissors

The pattern includes a schematic drawing, a chart, written-out rows, and photos. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for beginners. The Magnolia Shawl is better suited for that.
